Pace: =/\= Did you hear that, sirs? =/\=

Vesela turned to look at the moss behind the field, which was now breathing in an almost aggressive manner. It wasn’t attacking the field, but it was certainly getting ready for something.

Tahna: =/\= Yeah, what was that? =/\=

The first officer checked her own tricorder, but eventually followed Vesela’s gaze to the moss.

V’Lar: =/\= Can you describe or locate the source of the sound you are referring to? =/\=

Pace: =/\= It’s… it’s the moss, Commander. =/\=

Tahna: =/\= Inoculate yourselves now. =/\=

Vesela just nodded and stared at the moss.

V’Lar: =/\= I have already done so, Commander. =/\=

Pace: =/\= I haven’t yet, the moss is a bit distracting! =/\=

Vesela was still staring at the moss, but the Commander’s movement caught her eye. A hypospray was tossed her way, and Vesela nearly dropped it. Tahna then began taking scans of the moss itself.

Tahna: =/\= I think the moss is preparing to use that energy it was building up. =/\=

Vesela put the hypospray up to her neck and pressed the button. She hissed a bit at the burning sensation, but she knew it was for the best. Especially with the extradimensional moss on the move.

V’Lar: =/\= Will the forcefield be sufficient to maintain containment? =/\=

Tahna: =/\= We’re going to find out. =/\=

Pace: =/\= We could attempt to boost power to the field… If the reactor isn’t fully repaired, we could juice the field with tricorders and the workstations? =/\=

Vesela sure hoped so. Maybe the moss was just… getting ready to leave? Or scout somewhere else?

V’Lar: =/\= Relocating as soon as possible would be advisable. =/\=

Tahna: =/\= Lieutenant, let the Gorkon know to prepare for expedited patient transport, ensure they’re ready to receive them. Doctor, what do you need? =/\=

Pace: =/\= Aye, sir. Would we be able to help get the patients ready for transport faster? =/\=

Vesela took a deep breath while she sent a message to the Gorkon’s medical team back on board. If they relocated, where would they go? The infirmary sounded awful, though maybe they could help the doctor get the patients ready faster. Then from there, where? The whole station was chock full of the extradimensional vines and moss.

V’Lar: =/\= It will still take some time to prepare the patients for transport. It should be noted that those that are not viable for transfer can not be safely moved. What are your orders? =/\=

Tahna: =/\= Prepare the patients for transport. Those that won’t survive…we’ll just have to keep them comfortable. I think anyone inoculated should be able to survive what the moss throws at us, if the force field fails. =/\=

Vesela nodded. She had always admired Commander Tahna, and she knew how challenging it had to be calling the shots in such a devastating situation.

Pace: =/\= Aye, sir. =/\=

V’Lar: Response

Tahna: =/\= I’ll see if we can get some relief staff from the Gorkon, trade them out for the civilian medics. =/\=

Vesela nodded and began to stuff all the TV Rations she could into her bag.

V’Lar: Response

Pace: =/\= How’s the temperature in there, Doctor? Has it risen any higher? =/\=

Tahna / V’Lar: Response

Pace: =/\= Would you like me to juice the forcefield, Commander? As a precaution? =/\=

Tahna / V’Lar: Response
