(( Back Alley - Lower vIq'mItlh City))

The situation was escalating, as Commander Neathler ran into a Klingon, and another Klingon nearly ran over Commander Tahna.

Tahna: Sona! C’mon!

Neathler: Coming!

Auricsdóttir: I am coming.

Spelvan: On my way.

Meru was nearly at the door now, just steps away, and turned to catch sight of her group. They were not all so lucky.

Klingon in front: Tourists, huh? What's a Vulcan doing in vIq'mItlh?

The pub was quickly turning into a melee, as the Klingons made for them.

Neathler: Run!

Auricsdóttir: Yes!

Spelvan: I will do my best.

A falling Klingon blocked her path causing her to pull up short. Out of the corner of her eye she saw another Klingon coming up quickly to her side.

Doctor Spelvan tipped a table over in front of a Klingon coming at her sending glasses crashing to the floor. She felt his hand grab her and pull her along through the crowd.

Spelvan: Are you unharmed?

As near as she could tell at the moment, she was fine or at least nothing majorly wrong. Though with the adrenaline in her system courtesy of the Klingons, it was possible she was missing something, that was a potential problem for later though.

Auricsdóttir: I am fine.

Once they were out of the pub Doctor Spelvan let go of her hand and raised his hood. Following suit she raised her hood against the rain as well.

Spelvan: I apologize. It appears our undercover status may have been compromised.

Tahna: Oh well. Run.

Neathler: We only needed a cover to buy the drugs.

Auricsdóttir:It is good we have the drugs then.

Splevan: Where should we go?

Tahna: Anywhere, come on!

Auricsdóttir: That works for me.

After they had covered some distance their group came to a halt in an alleyway. She noticed their new first officer smiling.

Tahna: Let’s not do that again!

Neathler: Fine, fine, no more pubs.

Auricsdóttir: I could also do without the angry Klingons.

Spelvan: I would be hard-pressed to repeat that excursion.

Tahna: A karaoke bar was not a bad suggestion, but I worry it will be busy and put more eyes on us. ::She frowned, looking up and down the alley.:: If we’re careful, we may be able to do some quick analysis of the substance here, and see if it’s something we can track.

Neathler: Why don’t you go a head, I’ll keep watch.

Auricsdóttir: :: Pointing to a small alcove. :: We will be mostly hidden over there.

Tahna: Response

Spelvan: ::to Neathler:: That is an excellent idea - thank you, sir.

Commander Neathler took a few steps over to the mouth of the alley to provide watch for them.

Tahna: Response

Auricsdóttir: One of you should scan it.

While she was decent with a tricorder, Commander Tahna and Doctor Spelvan would be far better qualified to figure out what they were dealing with.

Spelvan: ::removing the vial containing the drug from his pocket:: I will scan the drug as quickly and efficiently as possible.

She watched as the doctor pulled out his tricorder and began scanning the sample of the drug. He raised his eyebrow as the small device chirped.

Neathler: Any luck?

Spelvan: Yes. The drug contains traces of boridium, which will be easy to program our tricorders to identify particles of.

Auricsdóttir: Boridium?

She was not sure if she had heard about boridium before, though there were enough elements that it was possible she had heard of it in passing.

Tahna: Response

Neathler: How about a walk in the park? We might have some shelter from the trees, and there are several exits we can take if necessary.

Tahna: Response

Visiting a park sounded like a far nicer proposition than anywhere like the pub they had just come from. Not to mention she loved spending time in nature.

Auricsdóttir: I am always up for a walk in the park.

Spelvan: I have no objection to this plan.

(( Park - Lower vIq'mItlh City))

Arriving at the park the officers stood under a tree, it offered some respite from the constant rain, though the tree itself was dripping, albeit far slower than the rain.

Spelvan: I will scan for the boridium. Please, keep an eye out.

Auricsdóttir: What does it look like?

Tahna / Neathler: Response

The doctor’s tricorder came out again as he started scanning.

Spelvan: ::putting his tricorder away:: I have found two locations that have a large amount of boridium. One area to the east seems to be in an industrial area, in a building that appears to be a warehouse. The second area to the north looks to be in a residential district. It could be in someone's home or possibly a business. ::pause:: We must now choose which place to investigate.

Tahna / Neathler: Response

Auricsdóttir: A house cannot hold as many Klingons as a warehouse.

Tahna / Neathler / Spelvan: Response

Auricsdóttir: Should we have the Gorkon beam up the sample? Having it on us could make us a target if it is known.

Tahna / Neathler / Spelvan: Response
