(( Coralis Beach, Deluvia IV ))
The talk had turned back to science, but how could it stay away with both of them being scientists? Also, as they had both mentioned, science was fun!
Pace: I know you’ve got a lot on your plate as first officer, but I’d sure appreciate any tips you have on scientific papers!
Tahna: I think about half the crew would be happy to offer their assistance as well. Actually, Erin might have the best advice for you. ::She smiled.:: But my door is always open, for this or anything else.
Pace: Thank you, sir, I truly appreciate that. And if there’s ever anything I can do for you, my door’s open too. ::She smiled.::
Tahna looked out to the ocean, which glistened back in response. It reminded Vesela of the glow of the solas back home.
Tahna: Do you swim, Pace? I know some species historically used pools to simulate zero gravity before early spaceflight. We don’t need water for that anymore, but…
The Commander trailed off and glanced at Vesela curiously.
Pace: It’s not something I do very often, but I have in the past! A few of the doctors at the Academy recommended swimming as something I could do to relieve the pressure of gravity but still build up my endurance.
Tahna: Response
Pace: I also have to admit I skipped wearing an exoskeleton just in case swimming was on the agenda. Is swimming allowed in this area of the beach?
Tahna: Response
