The shuttle made a hard turn and began descending towards a white and cream one-floor rooftop home, with floor length panes of glass dazzling and glinting under the bright sun of what was shaping up to be a wonderful day. On the terrace surrounding it, white climbing plants dangled under the occasional shade of a few plum palm trees, the aroma already dancing a ballet number in Miax’s nose.
Avoi: ::Giggling.:: We're a very normal family. ::She gasped loudly.:: Oh, oh! Look! Look! There it is! Heeeee! ::She clapped.:: My beautiful penthouse!

After the valet parked the flying convertible, Miax patted him gratefully on his wrinkled head before turning with a flamboyant flourish, trotting off at speeds to one of the main entrances to her home. Slender fingers swirled outwards as she ran them through the fragrant flowers lining the path, oily eyes scanning every inch of the area for imperfection—thankfully those in her employment had maintained it all rather well, though she’d have words with her gardener to talk to the slightly lonely looking Riaso Carnations more.
Cain: Alright, so be naked as in honest, but keep your clothes on. ::She grinned.:: I think I can do that.
Avoi: ::She giggled.:: No amount of clothing will hide your thoughts from my mother, Xandria. But they will help to impress!
A quick stop to pause and smile at a camera outside the grand glass doors and they clicked open, revealing a resplendent and brightly lit atrium. She sniffed at the air and squeaked with glee at the newer scents; a variety of potted plants in pinks and purples and greens greeted them, some tapered, others soft and fluffy, accompanied by artistic ornaments that jutted from different corners, and the sound of two trickling fountains embedded into the circular walls around them.
Cain: So, when can I expect your family to turn up and begin interrogating us?
Avoi: We’ll be visiting them. Just as soon as we’re all freshened up. ::She marched on through a glinting corridor of mirrors.:: Are you thirsty?
They entered the living area through a curved archway, and Miaxdiso smiled blissfully at the sight. The largest of all of the rooms in her penthouse, this one was a paradise of powdered pink carpets and a rounded sofa buried into a sunken conversation pit that took centre stage. In the middle of the pit, a glass coffee table with a stash of the latest Betazoid tabloid magazines had been placed, arranged on careful angles to give hints at what each one contained.
Also around the room, more of the drooping white and purple flower arrangements filled the space, as well as marble ornaments depicting Betazed birds and mythological figures, off-white sheer curtains that were now opening automatically upon their entry to feed in the outside light, and, the most important feature of all, a large full body painting of Miaxdiso posing on her side in the full glamour of a crystal teal gown and tiara.

Avoi: A drink, Xandria. Would you like one? ::She pulled out a tall glass on a gaunt stem from inside a striking cabinet.:: It can be very dehydrating when flying over the city.
She disappeared for a moment before re-emerging with glasses full of sparkling Veacot¹ juice, the sound like miniature fireworks in her hands. She handed one of the glasses to Xandria, and then gestured to clink them together. After clinking, she swallowed some of the liquid and sighed sweetly in her best friends direction.

Avoi: It's non-alcoholic! But we can have Diahali² shots before we leave later on. They're spicy! You'll enjoy them.
