Lt. Commander Tahna Meru - So We Meet

Deluvia hung low in the sky over the ocean, preparing to set. Despite the oncoming darkness, it was still warm. Meru wore a breezy, light cardigan over her tunic. She watched a few other folks pass by, all following the trail down to the cove. They were going to see the bioluminescent phytoplankton that made this cove their home. Meru was excited, as both a scientist and just a tourist, to observe the phenomenon. 

But she waited at the top of the path, watching for a face familiar to her only through a personnel file. 

Tahna: Doctor V'Lar, I believe? 

V'Lar: Response

She wanted to get to know the Gorkon's newer crew members, but it was shore leave, and she knew some folks were more prone to work through their leave than others (she was often one of them). So she'd sent an informal invitation to one of the ship's new doctors, informing her of the bioluminescent cove. So here they were, two strangers, though hopefully not for long. 

Tahna: Just Tahna is fine. ::She smiled.:: We're not working tonight. 

V'Lar: Response

Tahna: I hope you're settling in well? 

V'Lar: Response
