((Outside the Club Cocora, Deluvia IV))

It was the first time Thea had visited Deluvia with the Gorkon, but it was not the first time she had visited the planet. Before she'd joined Starfleet, she'd visited the planet several times; sometimes for fun, sometimes for duty. She'd seen more of the hospitals than some of its staff, touring wards and facilities, meeting patients and smiling for the cameras.

Such things were far from her mind that evening. After their year in the alternate timeline, where people barely seemed to have enough to live, clothes and clubs had seemed... too indulgent, somehow. But Deluvia offered an opportunity to reclaim some normalcy without her every move being scrutinised, and so here she was.

Asymmetry was in vogue on Tyrellia, and Thea had leaned into it. One arm and shoulder bare, the other covered to her wrist in a deep Phthalo blue, the soft fabric skimming over her curves in a flattering cut. Heels accentuated the lines of her legs, and gold jewellery—elegant and devastatingly expensive—completed her look.

A wave caught her eye, and she turned to see two women she vaguely recognised. One sparkled in an orange knee-length dress, her perfect blonde hair crowned with a ribboned white hat, fruit-shaped pendants swinging from her ears. Classic Betazoid flamboyance. The other looked more streamlined, in an elegant suit, accessorised with a silver chain, fingers gleaming with rings. An odd pairing, but she supposed people might think the same about her and Rix.

Cain: Hey! Fancy meeting you down here!

Thea's smile fell into place as naturally as breathing, and she veered off to stand with the two. Miaxdiso Avoi she knew of—even if she'd had the most mundane posting available, the woman couldn't help but stand out. But her companion? Striking as she was, the human wasn't as familiar. A security officer? Thea could vaguely picture her in a gold uniform, but she wasn't one of the engineering or operations officers she worked alongside.

Kairis: Hello. Are you heading into Cocora too?

Avoi / Cain: Response

Thea glanced back toward the archway leading inside, and the Brikar who almost seemed to fill the space between the support columns. He gravelled out a few words, and another exquisitely elegant group slunk away from the entrance. Odd, she thought, for they were exactly the sort the club would welcome.

Kairis: Seems like they're being especially picky today. ::She looked back toward the pair, and grinned.:: All the more reason to take a peek inside, wouldn't you say?

Avoi / Cain: Response

With no further ado, she linked arms with the pair, one on either side, and steered them back toward the entrance. It wasn't a stride or a march, but the confident, unceremonious, unstoppable walk of someone rarely denied. The Brikar received a small nod of acknowledgement, but she didn't introduce herself, and he didn't ask—though her previously denied friends earned a flicker of a frown as the trio sailed past him.

Kairis: Where do you want to go first? There's the dance floor on this level, and upstairs there's a bar where you don't have to shout over the music.

Avoi / Cain: Response
