Jovenan: =/\= I’m straight from the Academy, this is my first assignment. =/\=
Hiro didn't really want to share too much about his first Starfleet incarnation, but also didn't want to come across as cagey. Eventually, he settled for amicable ambiguity.
Jones: =/\= I was in before. Just completed recommissioning training =/\=
Kijana: =/\= And your specialities? /\=
Jovenan: =/\= Science officer. I’ve got a degree in Planetary Sciences from university before Academy, where I specialised in astronomy and xenobiology. =/\=
Jones: =/\= Before, I was psychiatry. (I was a counselor) Now, my specialty is in virology and pathology. I won't bore you with the synopsis of my dissertation. =/\= oOYou're a nerd, Hiro Oo

While they talked, they continued taking slow, deliberate steps, making sure the magnets in their EVA boots engaged before taking a step with the opposite foot. This methodical plodding had carried the group about 100 meters or so in what felt like as many years. Looking over his shoulder, Hiro could still see the still-closed airlock they'd started from, but in front of them, they could just make out the disruption in the ship's hull that signified an airlock. That must be the marine hangar bay.
Jones: =/\= Looks like we're getting close now. Ensign Jovenan, do you spend much time in an EVA suit, or do you prefer doing your study through sensors? =/\=

Another brief eternity later, the group was in a few meters of the hangar. Pulling up, Hiro looked to Commander Niac.
