Ensign Jovenan – This time without mysterious viruses, hopefully

By now, the deck 7 had become familiar for Jovenan. Here, in the Medical Lab, she, together with Counsellor Seta and Doctor Adea, had tried to solve the mystery behind the pathogen-infused tacos. A part of the mystery, at least. The trouble with the tacos was also the reason her arrival formalities had been postponed: the senior officers had been too busy, first with the diplomatic discussions, then with all the calamity that had followed. She herself had sprung into action back then, too. But now, when the shore leave was about to begin, she found time to take care of the delayed matters.
Jovenan walked past the med lab door and entered the sickbay. She looked around. There were tables with medical equipment near her, and further to the right, a series of empty biobeds. She wasn’t looking for chattel, but personnel. She spotted the door taking her to the CMO’s officer on her left. She entered the waiting room and stopped to breath a moment before ringing the bell to the office.
After given permission to enter, she walked in. She found Commander Adea, the CMO, sitting by his desk in the office.
Jovenan: Commander.
She had met with the Doctor before, so she had figured this would be an easy task to begin with. The CMOs all around the fleet wanted to know the medical history and current status of their new patients-to-be, so the Excalibur’s one was probably not an exception.
Adea: Response
Jovenan: I haven’t had my new crewmember’s medical examination done yet. If you or anyone on your department had the time, I’d like to request one.
