Lovar: ::smirking:: Who in hell would try and torture you with that stuff.

A deeper smile tugged at the corner of Deena’s mouth, escaping as a soft chuckle.

Quen: Chrissy Jones - my roommate. That girl could party… There was this massive, massive one the night Bajor joined the Federation... Were you there then? 

Lovar: ::He let out an audible exhale while trying to remember the date.:: That was... '88? No, I was still at the VSA.

Lorian noticed her pause for a moment after he said this, as if she was remembering something.

Quen: Ah - you’d’ve loved it…

Lovar: Yeah, probably. I had my fair share of ragers back in my academy days.

He chuckled to himself, thinking about the bits he could remember about his wild party days.

Quen: Have you met the new CO yet?

Lovar: Captain Kells? Yeah, actually. I had a chance to talk to him while I was on a jog. ::chuckling:: Right before the big announcement.

Quen: Yeah? What’d you think?

Lovar: He seems like a good guy, considerate of the crew and such. Plus he was a science officer so that's always a high grade in my book. So, no need to mutiny... yet.

He smirked and gave a playful wink after that last remark. Deena smirked back and nodded her approval.

Quen: Heh heh - "yet"... ::feigned seriousness:: Planning something, Lovar?

Lovar: Oh I'm always planning something, not quite mutiny, but something. 

Quen: Science guy, though, huh? I like it…

Lovar: Yeah, it's always nice to know you've got someone who'll keep our department in mind.

Quen: And what's your Captain thinking about all this? Fuzzball making his opinions known?

Lovar: Patches definitely does not mind going back onto a star ship after so long. He's always been an indoor cat, confined spaces are his thing.

Quen: Response?

Lovar: ::chuckling:: Yeah, I guess so. How about you? Are you excited to live the ol' star ship lifestyle?

He put up jazz hands for the last few words of his sentence to spice it up a bit.

Quen: Response?
