As soon as the Brells and Prime Minister Daysa were seated at the dais, Toni tapped a champagne glass to bring everyone to attention.

Turner: Please find your seats so the waiters can take your dinner orders before the festivities begin.

The hum of the crowd lasted another 10 minutes while they gave their orders, but as soon as the ballroom quieted, Toni spoke again.

Turner: Before we introduce our guests of honor, I have a few announcements to make. If you hear your name called, please come to the front of the dais. . .Lieutenant Alexander Brodie, Ensign Daylan Daroo, Lieutenant JG Quen Deena, Lieutenant JG Lorian Lovar,  Lieutenant JG Ben Garcia, and Lt Commander Boris Hendon.

As they all came to the front, Toni and Pandorn stepped to the front with them.

Turner: As of this moment the following are promoted in rank and/or status with all the duties and amenities of the rank. :: Pinning each with their new pip, as she called their names.::

Alexander Brodie to Lt. Commander and Chief Counselor

Daylan Daroo to Lieutenant JG and Chief of Security

Quen Deena to Lieutenant and Chief Medical Officer

Lorian Lovar to Lieutenant and Chief of Science
