((Ad hoc briefing room, The USS Eagle Outpost))

The Captain had gathered them in his office, such as it was, but the outpost's rumour mill had run faster than his summons. This was it. The home stretch. The higher-ups had apparently found a way for them to escape this planet. To where, or perhaps even when, was the question.

Said unspoken question was answered just as silently as Commander Adea handed them each a PADD detailing the master plan. The Remmilian gave it a cursory read, and could feel his inexistant eyebrows shooting up to his equally nonexistant hairline.

Adea: Commander Falt… Tomas, you will take ch’Clex and Tanner to the museum’s security complex. Our intelligence suggests the museum’s security is entirely automated, so you’re to go there and turn it off. I doubt it’ll be as easy as there being a big switch saying “off” but hey, we live in hope.

Kettick lived in preparation of the worst, but he could see how some might prefer the other side of the equation.

Falt: Response

The CO then moved his attention to the Remmilian.

Adea: Commander Kettick, I’m afraid I have the least fun job for you. You’ll be taking Braya, Lim and Drex, and stealing the Bounty. For those of you who don’t know, it’s the ship that James T. Kirk used to go back in time with the crew of the Enterprise. The basic idea here is the same. We need you to go and get her ready to fly, then beam us all into the Bounty’s hold, before taking off.

The insectoid bowed his head lightly.

Kettick: One will be glad to be of service. Presumably, measures will be taken so that local air and space defences will not bother us?

Genkos smiled and nodded, turning to his XO.

Adea: That’s where Cayden comes in. Commander Adyr, you’ll be taking Favon and Letek. The Bounty’s cloaking device was transferred to the Enterprise during Frontier Day. I need you to go and get it so that nobody can find us once we’re off the museum. Last thing we need is for any remaining Starfleet ships to stop us.

Given the state of their own ship, that was unlikely, but see the above bit about preparing for the worst.

Adyr: Aye, sir. We'll take care of it.

Adea: As for myself, I’ll be taking Commander Williams and Ensign Buccheri. We’re going to take the entirety of the rest of the crew, and we’re going on a tour of the museum. Station security might be automated, but there’s still a skeleton staff. We’ll keep them busy asking as many questions and queries as we can. ::he half stood:: Right, you have your orders. Assemble your teams, prepare yourselves and we meet at Adyr’s ship at 0800. Sleep well folks, for this is the last night we sleep in the 31st Century. Go, in good faith.

Kettick nodded, and moved out of the room with the other officers. He had a team to assemble.

((Engineering shack, The USS Eagle Outpost))

The Remmilian had decided to take a screenshot out of the CO's proverbial PADD, and had asked his soon-to-be-team to meet in his office. Of all of them, Kettick was only really familiar with Drex, but he had interacted a couple times with doctor Lim and he had taken the time to read through Ensign Braya's personnel files.
An interesting read for sure. She was a near-ideal fit for the task at hand.

Kettick: Thank you all for coming. As you have no doubt heard through the scuttlebutt, the Captain has put into motion a plan to get us off this planet, and hopefully back to our time. The science behind it does elude me, but fortunately our orders are of a more pragmatic nature.

He paused, looking around the worktable that had been cleared of its usual assortment of blueprints in preparation for their move, the insectoid let his eyes roam over the assembled officers.

Kettick: :: In his usual monotone :: Now, who had "stealing a Klingon relic from a museum to go backwards in time" on their bingo card?

He remembered that line from one of his previous Chiefs, and had decided that it was a nice briefing opener.

Braya/Drex/Lim: Response

Kettick: A Klingon Bird-of-prey, specifically. And a rather famous one.

He turned his attention towards the resident Acamarian and former pirate.

Kettick: Ensign Braya, I suspect that between the two of us, we will have no trouble upholding the glorious example of our Starfleet forebears and stealing the HMS Bounty... again. Any insight on the way we should go about hijacking a 23rd century Bird?

Braya/Any: Response

The Remmilian nodded.

Kettick: Two other teams will cover us, one by disabling the security systems of the museum, and the other by causing a distraction. The XO will also bring us the ship's cloaking system, that has been removed and transferred to the Enterprise for whatever reason. I will work on re-installing it, but I welcome your expertise if you are familiar with the system. :: He turned towards the Betazoid in the room :: Doctor Lim, we will use the ship to evacuate everybody, but we have a number of injured in various states, and we do not know how the trip back in time will affect them. Do you believe we can repurpose the stasis fields used to protect the museum pieces on display onboard to help with their conditions?

Lim/Any: Response

Kettick: Good, please take point on that front. Lieutenant Drex, your help would also be appreciated. Furthermore, you will have to coordinate with Ensign Braya to set up a flight plan that has us slingshot around the local star on the right trajectory to warp us back in time. A typical Wednesday, I believe.

Drex/Any: Response
