Thalor: Well the good news is we can treat the damaged tissue and close over the wound but it would be a neat job and will probably scar. Unfortunately, the type of dermal regenerators we would need for that were not included in the emergency kits.

Tomas looked around the makeshift facility. He knew if he'd been in a proper sickbay he'd likely already be all sorted and on his way by now.

Falt: I appreciate things are far from ideal. Do what you can, Doctor.

The doctor nodded.

Thalor: I shall return quickly with the necessary supplies.

Falt: I'm not going anywhere. 

The doctor stepped out of the room, leaving Tomas alone for a moment. It had been a very long time since he had received medical care from someone that hadn't been trained by Starfleet and when he'd first seen the doctor approach he'd become curious as to whether there would be a noticeable difference. Based on the standard of care he'd received so far the answer was no.

He looked up as the doctor returned, army full of supplies.

Thalor: I am going to clean the wound first, it will sting but let me know if it is excessively painful.

Without further warning he promptly something on Tomas' wound. To say it was going to sting was something of an understatement, the pain was almost as intense as when he'd first been injured.

Falt: ::through gritted teeth:: You know, based on your direct approach I'd say you'd been used to train Starfleet's EMH program.

Thalor: Response.

Fortunately, the pain of the spray seemed to subside almost as quickly as it had arrived. Tomas risked a chuckle

Falt: I'll take good quality treatment over bedside manner any day. How's it looking?

Thalor: Response.
