((Unknown Chamber, Deck ??? , Voth Generational Ship Igirni))

Trashks’ eyes widened as the pieces of the puzzle fell into place. With the engine she sabotaged out of action, it would be fairly easy for a skilled engineer to send them through the black hole… which clearly wasn’t a black hole, but some kind of wormhole. Her knowledge of theoretical physics was just that - theoretical. However, it would make sense.

Trashk: That could have been their plan - ::hope fulling her chest:: to send us home.

Tanner: Who exactly are you referring to by ‘their plan’?

Lim: Not the Igirni’s council of elders I assume.

Falt: Given what I know about the Voth separatists are likely frowned upon. I’m guessing this was some kind of plan to return to the Igirni to what many Voth believe is their only true home, correct?

Trashk shrugged; she wasn’t entirely sure what the plan had been from the higher ups, she only knew what she wanted, and what she thought was going to happen.

Trashk: That would be my guess, it wasn’t what I wanted.

Braya / Frinn: Response

Tanner: And what exactly was it that you wanted?

Trashk: I just wanted to land, to get off this ****ing ship, and have somewhere to call home.

Lim: And your group couldn’t go off on your own, and not drag everyone else who wanted something different with you?

Trashk shot the woman a very dirty glance - if she knew anything about the Voth, she’d have known that was not possible - with their species, it was all or nothing.

Braya / Frinn: Response

Lim: If your group had brought it up that you were not being allowed to leave to any of us then we could have helped and much of all this ::she waved to the window:: could have been avoided.

The man shook his head, and Trashk noticed him as if for the first time - it seemed from the others’ body language that he might be in charge.

Falt: From the records I’ve read about the Voth I doubt they would have even considered that an option. ::looking at Trashk questioningly:: Plus, I suspect this is bigger than just the group on the Igirni. Someone in the Delta quadrant wanted you home too, correct?

Trashk: That would be my guess.

Braya / Frinn / Tanner : Response

Lim: Like I said, Voth space is only several weeks away. There are many ships that your group could have chartered to take you back to Voth space or to find another planet if that’s what you’d all prefer. You didn’t have to make everyone else come.

Trashk pointed a scaly finger at the woman, who might not be close in proximity, but her words were getting pretty close to the bone.

Trashk: Listen, would you want to abandon your ****ing friends, your family? No. We wanted a home for all. I just didn’t realise it would be so ****ing hard.

Braya / Frinn / Tanner : Response

Falt: Agreed, but like it or not, they did. Which means our immediate priority is finding the Captain and getting off this ship so we can work out how to get home. ::tapping his combadge:: =/\= Falt to Adea? =/\=

((OOC: filling in these tags here, imagine they happen after the firefight. Unless we all die, of course))

This time the channel did open, and the man grinned as a response came through a moment later.

Adea: =/\= Good to hear your voice, Commander. What’s the situation? =/\=

Tomas looked around the group.

Falt: =/\= We’re a bit banged up, but we’re fine sir. A bigger concern is that I can’t contact the ship and there are more Voth vessels outside. There is also reason to believe we may be in the Delta quadrant. =/\=

Braya / Frinn / Tanner / Lim: Response

Adea: =/\= I fear you might be right, let’s regroup. =/\=

Falt:  =/\= Understood, sir. I’m sure Lieutenant Lim can track your biosignature on her tricorder if needed. We’ll make our way towards you now. Falt out. =/\=

((OOC: N.B. Staff already discussed this course of action,))

Line closed, the man turned his full attention back to the team and the situation at hand.

Falt: You heard the Captain. ::to Lim:: Lieutenant, can you get a precise fix on his position?

Lim: Response

Braya / Frinn / Tanner: Response

The man nodded his agreement, and Trashk looked over at Braya, nervously.

Falt: Let’s head down the grav-tracks then. At least they will be easing going and are headed in the right direction. Plus they're taking us away from the waste processing area, and if we're lucky we might even find a transit car to speed us up. ::turning to the two Voth:: It is up to you whether you follow us or we go our separate ways, but if you do come with us you follow my orders. Understood?

Trashk: Listen, I’m, um… I’m going to scarper. I feel like I might not be popular right now, and it’ll be easy for me to disappear without a ****ing Starfleet detachment.

Falt /Lim / Braya / Frinn / Tanner: Response

Trashk looked over at Braya, and her frost-covered hand. She gave her a warm, but singular, nod, before turning and exiting out the door. The woman had saved her life, but if the wrong people found out about how complicit she was in their current predicament, she might have only granted her a few extra hours…

"You know, I'm really easy to get along with most of the time, but I don't like bullies and I don't like threats, and I don't like you, Culluh. You can try and stop us from getting to the truth but I promise you that if you do I will respond with all the 'unique technologies' at my command." - Kathryn Janeway
