((Counsellor's Office, Deck 12, DS224))
Kettick would have expected offices of a purely utilitarian bent, perhaps a repurposed office or meeting room. Or maybe even an interrogation room, that would have been amusing. But the suite put at counsellor Stendhal's disposal was comfortable and showed signs of personalisation. Perhaps the Lieutenant had found the time to arrange it to her tastes, or the counsellor affected to Deep Space 224 was not currently on duty and had lent her their office.
Either way, the Remmilian walked through the door after a formal but perfunctory knock and made a bee-line to shake the hand of the welcome, familiar face of the betazoid/human hybrid woman.
Kettick: Counsellor. A pleasure to see you again. I trust your return to duty has been stimulating.
Stendhal: Response
Kettick chittered, genuine warmth and amusement in the sound.
Kettick: I am sure. On the other hand, I find myself in a standby pattern, and I found it prudent to perform some preventive wetware maintenance before we are thrown into the breach once more.
Kettick: Quite. The ship is lost, and I hope you did not left anything important in your quarters when you left. But the crew is mostly safe. :: Serenely :: Eagle lives on.
