Capt. Genkos Adea - Another Brick in the Wall

Genkos saw them once he’d reached the walkway - there were half a dozen Voth bodies strewn about. One had clearly taken a shot to the chest and fallen from the same walkway they were standing on - for they were directly beneath them, and their limbs were at sickening angles. The rest were heaps on the floor, like discarded dolls.

Adea: Get down there - I want to know if there are survivors, and what happened here.

Carvalho / ch’Clex: Response

As Genkos followed his two other officers, his eye was caught by a side room off the main concourse. He could see some feet poking out from underneath a counter, and they looked suspiciously non-Voth. He approached, and saw that one of the science teams from the Eagle had been working down here. One officer was deceased, Lieutenant Spalding it looked like, although the face was pretty charred. 

The other, a young Bajoran male, was simply unconscious - it looked like they’d been struck across the room and tumbled behind the counter top. Genkos propped them up as their eyes flickered open.

Adea: Ensign Roktan, I presume?

Roktan: Response

Genkos gave him a quick once over - finally, his medical skills were of use in the mission. It seemed like he was bruised but not seriously hurt. He called over his shoulder.

Adea: Carvalho, ch’Clex! I found one of ours. ::turning to Roktan:: Right, let’s get you on your feet.
