She gestured to try and indicate the differences between the two types of wheeled skates. 

Lim: Specifically the two paired wheel version rather than the inline roller blades.

ch’Clex: The versions with wheels always looked dangerous to me. What happens if you hit a rock?

Noemi gave him a bemused expression.

Lim: You’d stumble and maybe fall. Same as if you hit a rock with an ice skate?

ch’Clex: Ice is far safer.

 Noemi honestly couldn’t see how. Roller skating didn’t have the threat of falling through the ice into a body of hypothermia inducing cold water, and while one could be injured up to the point of death with roller skating that was just as much of a risk for ice skating.

Still she wasn’t going to argue about it.

Lim: Sure. As I have not ice skated before I’ll take your word for it.

She didn’t point out that he had also not roller skated/bladed either.  

ch’Clex: That’s true, but if you ever want to learn proper skating an ice. I would be glad to teach you, after all I do owe you debt.

Lim: ::Smiles:: Sure, I’d be up for that.

Lim: Only after you’ve healed up completely. Then you can show me all the tricks.
