((Unknown Chamber, Deck ??? | Igirni))
Noemi followed Jackson to the window and eyed the crowd of ships in concern. None of them were the Eagle-A. That didn’t mean much, the Eagle could simply be outside of the window’s view. However, most strangely all of them looked like the Voth vessels that were included in Starfleet’s database. Vessels that were far more modern than the one they were aboard.
Lim: ::Musing:: Why would there be other Voth ships out here? Voth territory is at least, what, several weeks of warp travel away?
Trashk: Unless we moved.
Tanner: ::Nodding:: I think that's a reasonable hypothesis. Which, then leads to the question of just what was the black hole then….
Lim: ::Disgruntled:: It’s another goddess damned portal.
Mue hissed in displeasure at that line of thought. They did not have the best track record with space time anomalies that looked like black holes to say the least.
Braya / Frinn / Falt: Response
Trashk: That could have been their plan - ::hope fulling her chest:: to send us home.
Tanner: Who exactly are you referring to by ‘their plan’?
A very good question.
Lim: Not the Igirni’s council of elders I assume.
It felt like a very safe guess, after all if they were in on this whole ‘send us home’ thing then why would they bring in Starfleet and lie about what they were doing.
Braya / Frinn / Trashk / Falt: Response
Tanner: And what exactly was it that you wanted?
Trashk: Response
She frowned. Doing onto others what they were (perceived) to be doing to you would
Lim: And your group couldn’t go off on your own, and not drag everyone else who wanted something different with you?
Braya / Frinn / Falt : Response
Lim: If your group had brought it up that you were not being allowed to leave to any of us then we could have helped and much of all this ::she waved to the window:: could have been avoided.
She knew in reality helping the Voth who no longer wished to remain on the Igirni would have been far more complicated politically and logistically than simply saying they would have helped. But she knew that they would have at least tried to help, to bring about a solution that was agreeable to most people.
Braya / Frinn / Trashk / Falt / Tanner : Response
While she felt bad for both groups of Voth, she was a bit frustrated that Trashk’s group had taken the choice away from their fellows. Especially when there was a pretty obvious solution.
Lim: Like I said, Voth space is only several weeks away. There are many ships that your group could have chartered to take you back to Voth space or to find another planet if that’s what you’d all prefer. You didn’t have to make everyone else come.
