ch’Clex: Got ask, do any of you know anyone that makes good instruments? And no, not any of that replicated stuff, it has to be hand made.

Tanner: What kind of instrument?  ::Sitting slightly back in his chair.::

Not that the answer would have changed anything.  Jackson had no idea who could help, but he was curious what the man was hoping to craft.

Drex: It depends on what you are looking for. Sports? Music? Agriculture?

Buccheri: ...drawing blanks here, sir. :: He shook his head. :: Sorry.

Tholin had not had high hopes that any anyone would know.

ch’Clex: Well, it was worth the try. :: Looking over at Lieutenant Drex:: Looking for a flute.

Tanner: Probably difficult to find someone with experience having crafted one before.  But I'm sure you could find someone who has the right skills to do so.

Drex: I don’t  know anyone personally, but I can ask around and let you know

ch’Clex: Thank you Lieutenant.

Tanner: If you were having your first meal and you were back at home, what would you choose? ::Letting the question sink in for a moment, Jackson took up first swing.:: I think I’d have to say Roast meat and vegetables.  Just because it reminds me of home so much.

Drex: That’s easy. Whatever my grandmothers cook, it’ll be fine. Kalusan ratatouille would be my first choice, though.

Buccheri: Definitely my mother's rigatoni pasta. Something simple and neat, methinks.

ch’Clex: Andorian tuber root. ::Looking dreamily into the distance:: My father made it you would not think that he could cook, but he made a mean tuber root.

Drex: Maybe it's time to organize a new potluck dinner. I did it once, after my first mission, on Denali. No replicators. :: He smiled :: Would you be able to cook something?

Buccheri: Unless it came prepackaged - not at all, sir.

Tanner: ::Jackson smiled as he listened.:: This is a great idea! I love to cook.

ch’Clex : My father did teach me how to make the family tuber root. Of course, I would never be able to make it as good as he.

Drex: ey, of course you can call home and ask for help. I did. :: He lifted a hand in mock surrender :: Though there was also some...  creative improvisation involved.

Buccheri: Sounds like a good way to find out why they didn't do it that way, sir. :: The ensign snickered, wiping his mouth :: Then again, s'also a good way to figure out how you like yours cooked, sir.

ch’Clex : That is true.

Drex: Either way, it’s a good excuse to eat well.

Tanner: True enough.  I think we should definitely organise this.  ::Pausing for a moment to expand the idea.:: What if we just rotated around and each took a turn cooking?

ch’Clex: That sounds like an excellent idea. ::Looking around the table:: Am in for it.

Buccheri: Speaking of home and eating well - why'd any of you sign up for Starfleet? Sounds like you might've had it good back home.

Tanner: ::Looking around.:: I’ll go first.  I guess initially it was at my parents' insistence.  Something about needing to do something with my life. :: Grinning at the harsh truth of it.:: But in the end I did it because I enjoy being part of a team and the endless excitement of the unknown.

ch’Clexr: We Andorians spend most of time in our underground cities, but there are times during summertime that you can spend time on the surface. I remember seeing the stars as child one summer. ::Looking up a bit, like there was a sky to look at here.:: It affected me and after that all I wanted was to go to them.

Drex: Response

Buccheri: Didn't have much of a choice. Or maybe I did, n' I figured that out a lil too late. Either way, I'm here to stay, sir. Gotta take the good with the bad, right? And I think I'm taking the good right now, sir.

Initiated by the Ensign, Jackson joined with the acknowledgement and raised his mug.

ch'Clex: ::Raising his mug as well:: For Starfleet and the stars.

Drex: Response

Buccheri: If you don't mind me asking, sirs, but there's gotta be something interesting happening with the crew, right? After all, you three've been serving on the Eagle longer than me.

ch'Clex: Well when Zogi gets the bar up and running aging, that is the best place if you want to meet crew and find interesting happening. Well that is according to me.

Drex: Response

Tanner: Thanks again for breakfast everyone. ::Standing up.:: But I do need to go speak to my parents.  ::Nodding.:: We must do this again!

ch'Clex: No thank you for letting us crash youre breakfast. ::Waiting for Tanner to get up, before he himself got up.:: Well I got to get going as well, but if any of you want to do that coocking thing. ::Pausing as he look at them:: Then leet me know.

Buccheri/Drex: Response

NT - End for Tholin.
