((OOC - final sim of our mini leave from me - will be posting the Act III Opener shortly!))

((Makeshift Captain’s Office, The USS Eagle Outpost))

Genkos’ eyes narrowed as the sounds of a ticking clock quietly filled the small metal tent that was acting as his office. He stood up and banged a fist on the table, suddenly enraged - CloQ was taunting him, he could feel it.

Adea: I’m convinced CloQ has Kalianna, and I’m damned if they’re keeping her.

Good old Cayden was a practical woman - instead of focusing on, or drawing attention to, his emotional outburst, she was all business and what they had to do. It was much appreciated by the Betazoid Captain.

Adyr: So what's our next step then?

His ebony orbs bored into hers for a moment, cold fury held within them. He considered his next steps, and those of the crew. He tapped a few buttons on the PADD, revealing the details of a plan he’d been concocting in the back of his mind for a few days now.

Adea: Well we have that ship that you managed to “acquire” for us - I say we take it and find something we can get back home in.

Cayden nodded slowly.

Adyr: Alright. When do we get started?

Genkos flexed the fingers of his left hand; they ached from where he’d struck the table, but not only that, they itched with impatient anticipation. If he could work his will, they’d have left already. However, most of the rest of the senior staff had been out of camp for a while, and would appreciate a little rest.

Adea: Ideally, I’d like to have left yesterday. As it is, I think we need to rest for a few days, and then get going. How do you assess the crew’s morale?

Genkos had always understood that the Captain was in charge of the ship, and the First Officer was in charge of the crew. So he turned to Cayden for her opinion of how their team was doing.

Adyr: The crew is starting to settle and I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not. They are building things and diving into ventures that somewhat resemble what was before. Personally I'd like to settle less, and get home more.

Adea: Agreed. ::he took a deep breath:: Right, put the word out - we leave in one week. Pack up the camp, I want as little trace of us here as possible, and get everyone on board the freighter. It might be tight, but we’re going to have to make it work.

"You know, I'm really easy to get along with most of the time, but I don't like bullies and I don't like threats, and I don't like you, Culluh. You can try and stop us from getting to the truth but I promise you that if you do I will respond with all the 'unique technologies' at my command." - Kathryn Janeway
