((Main Hangar, Repair Section | DS224))

Eyna: Hotwire, damn you! Listen to me now. You can’t fly it. It won’t work. Not like that. I can find another ship, but you need to listen to Alex first.

From her spot in the hangar, she could see every tremble in Braya’s hands and every shift in Alex’s stance, but it still felt unreal. Braya’s focus was elsewhere, lost in some loop of thought Eyna could not reach, talking to herself or the ship or some fragment of memory that had nothing to do with reality. Even Alex’s presence barely registered with her. If this was a loop, no matter how many rounds came after this, killing herself, or anyone else, could not be an option. He had to stop her. And if words were not enough  then she had to act.
Tes’s stomach knotted as Alex lunged forward, closing the distance in an instant. Braya’s trembling hand raised the phaser, the metal glinting dangerously.

Williams: Braya!

The sound of her name snapped something into focus. Just enough. Tes watched as Alex seized her wrist, guiding the weapon aside. Braya wavered, off balance, and Alex’s hand found the perfect spot at her neck. A Vulcan technique?
Tes froze as Braya’s body crumpled forward. She heard the sharp crack of her head hitting the console, the phaser clattering across the deck and spinning once before settling.
Tes’s breath hitched. Her eyes followed Alex as he caught Braya again, easing her to the floor, checking her pulse.

Williams: Loop or no loop... you’re staying alive. I’ll see to the rest.  ::looking at Favon and Enya:: Lets get that door open, and allow the security team in, before people get hurt.

Favon: Response

Tes blinked, startled. The doors... The doors weren’t open?
Damn it. In all the chaos she hadn’t even noticed the emergency seal had triggered.
Her hands moved before her brain caught up.

Eyna: Right... yes! Opening them now!

She spun toward the wall panel, fingers flying across the controls. Her breath was still unsteady, throat tight, but she forced herself to focus long enough to override the lockout. The panel chirped, the clamps disengaged with a heavy clunk, and the hangar doors slid open.
She stepped back immediately, clearing a path.

Eyna: It’s a medical emergency, please hurry!

Only then did she look back toward the cockpit again, just to make sure Braya was still breathing.

With Braya carefully lifted onto a stretcher, medical personnel swarming to secure her as she was wheeled toward the sickbay, Lt. Cmdr. Williams finally slid down from the cockpit ladder. Tes’s chest tightened, and for a moment she simply stared at him, heart still hammering. Then she hurried over, voice trembling from adrenaline and fear.

Eyna: Thank you... for stopping her.

Williams / Favon: Response

Tes grabbed the edge of his uniform, ignoring protocol or rank, letting a flash of accusation slip through despite her gratitude.

Eyna: How could you let her get up there in the first place?

Her words came sharp, protective, and unfiltered. Braya had been seconds from hurting herself, and Tes could not think straight. All she knew was that she would never let that happen again.

Williams / Favon: Response

The engineer released her grip on Williams’ uniform, taking a shaky breath to center herself.

Eyna: We need to show her we’re real... that this isn’t some twisted loop in her head. She has to understand that before she hurts herself... gods, before she does something she can’t come back from.

Williams / Favon: Response
