Zogi had been working hard for the past few days. He was not new to the concept of working, but long physical labor was not really his strong suit. With a little help from the engineers—and capable builders like Williams—he’d cleared part of the cave complex of bugs, closed one of the side tunnels to avoid further contact with them, and added some lights to the new spa project. With all that done, he also made sure there were a few alcoves to change clothes, and with some wooden planks, he even managed to make a small bar inside. There wasn’t much to offer in terms of food or drinks, but it did offer a place to sit outside the water.

All in all, Zogi was pleased with what they had created. It was a welcome treat for so many after the long days in the hot sun and dust, especially after the intense sandstorm. News of it being finished spread quickly around the camp, and so did the discussion about how it should be run.

Some opted for special hours for men and then women. Others opted for mixed hours; some wanted at least partial clothing, while others preferred nothing but their bare skin. So… all in all, there was a lot for Zogi to organize. Schedules were made, and soon everyone knew when it was the best time to go, given their preferences.

To make everyone aware of his plans, he had written “ZOGI’S WATER PALACE” on the door to his shed and hoped business would begin soon. It took a few hours, but finally, the first people knocked on his door.

ch'Clex: Zogi, you open for business?

Zogi: Absolutely!

He opened the door to his place. It wasn’t much more than a few tables and chairs. With little food or drinks to serve, he hadn’t spent much time on his bar.

Letek: Good evening, Mr. Zogi. I see you've been very busy.

Zogi: Indeed, but I decided this bar was not the best idea. I have something better!

Letek: Word on the street is that you can get something here to help you forget your worries and fall asleep more easily. Is that correct?

Zogi: Aye, but this is not it… I found something better. More relaxing, and the same amount of good drinks you can get here—which is none… besides some pathetic attempt at a fruit cocktail. The fermenting is taking much longer than I thought it would, so the alcohol level is still really low.

ch'Clex: Response?

Letek: Then I'll take two glasses. One for my friend Tholin and one for me. Provided you accept the currency I can offer you out here in nowhere.

Zogi: Ordinarily, I’d never say this, but perhaps—for now—we can set profit aside.

ch'Clex: Response?

Zogi: If you really want to relax, I suggest you visit the spa we set up in the caves. It’s only a 10-minute drive with the truck. I set up a schedule for everyone. ::He pointed at the board with visiting hours per gender and type of clothing.::

Ch’Clex / Letek: Response?
