OOC: My deepest apologizes to Lan. I am so sorry that I didn't respond to you tags sooner. I look forward to seeing how they develop a solid friendship.

(( Jason’s Quarters, Deck 3, USS Doyle-A ))

:: Jason walked down the wide corridor leading to his quarters in a slow stride. Since his date with Sabrina, he had worked what seemed like an endless string of duty assignments. He was tired and now with a little down time, he looked forward to resting a bit before the Doyle launched again. After making a final turn, a grin crept across his face as he entered into his quarters and quickly flopped onto his sofa. In moments his body relaxed and sank into the soft cushions as he slowly drifted into sleep twilight. Suddenly he was snapped back to the present as his combadge activated. ::

Riel: =/\= Riel to Morris. =/\=

Morris: :: Tapping his badge. ::  =/\= Morris here. =/\=

Riel: =/\= Do you have a few minutes to spare? I believe we need to talk. =/\=

:: Jase sat up and adjusted himself into a comfortable position. Jason hadn't talked to or even seen Riel since their encounter in the dream world of Reverie Rock. A puzzled look crossed his face as he tried to quickly figure out what he might want to talk to him about. ::

Morris: =/\= Absolutely Sir. Where would you like to meet at? =/\=

Riel: =/\= The Wagon Wheel seems appropriate. =/\=

Morris: =/\= Wagon Wheel it is. I will be there momentarily. =/\=

:: Closing his com, He let out small sigh before standing and arching his back to allow his spent muscles to stretch for a brief moment before walking back out of his quarters and down the corridor towards the nearest turbolift. ::

((Timeskip - The Wagon Wheel, DS285))

:: Jason made good time as he wove his way through the stations crowds towards one of the popular destination of most of the ship's crew. After taking a few more steps, he arrived at the Wagon Wheels entrance where many individuals were entering and leaving. Some were laughing while others were somber and in deep conversation over a specific topic. Giving his tunic a small tug, Jason entered through the bars saloon doors giving him a slight feeling of Deja Vu as he stopped and looked around the bar area. After a few moments, he finally spotted Lan setting at the main bar. Taking just a few strides, Jason made his way through the mass of patrons and took the seat next to Riel.  ::

Morris: Good day Sir. :: Jase smiled ::

Riel: Please, call me Lan.

Morris: Very well Lan and please...I’m Jason. :: Jason nodded. :: My friends call me Jase. So, I assume you didnt invite me here just because you wanted to re-enact Reverie.

Riel: I just wanted to make sure you knew there was no bad blood between us.

Morris: I’m glad to hear that because I have no ill feel towards you at all. As far as I am concerned, what happened there stays there.

:: Jason smiled as he turned and lifted his hand into the air to catch the nearest waitresses attention. Within moments a young Orion woman working behind the bar noticed Jason and smiled as he pointed to Lan’s coffee cup and then to himself. Jason watched as the woman turned to get his request before he directed his attention back to Lan. ::

Riel: My thought exactly. Morris the drifter and Pinkerton Detective Lance Riley fought over Sabrina Holly the saloon owner. That's their problem, not ours, as far as I'm concerned.

Morris: Agreed. Jason smiled as his coffee was set in front of him. :: I’m just glad that you didn’t hunt me down to fight it out again.

Riel: Well, Betazoids are much more open than the average Old West human when it comes to relationships, no offence intended. :: He smiled :: And besides, I'm such a bad shot in reality that I wouldn't even take a chance.

Morris: Rewards of living in the target range at the Academy I guess. :: Jason chuckled slightly. :: So how have things been for you since the dream realm?

Riel: ?

:: Jason listen intently as Lan spoke. Rumors had filtered around some of the crew about Riel, but he hadn't taken much from it. The one thing he had been taught early in life is that rumors are just that. Rumors. ::

Morris: Sounds like a tough spot, but I’m glad that you are still with us. :: Jason smiled as he adjusted himself on his stool taking a sip of his coffee. :: At least after the classes you will get you rank back.

Riel:?
