Jori had just pushed his glowing, intricate mask up into his hair to wipe some sweat from his brow when the ship's counselor spotted him and approached. Keeping up with the dance moves on the Conny crew was hard work!

Ba'el: Hello. You must be Ensign Jori Mec?

Jori Mec: I must be! ::Clearly taking note that she was someone important, but a little lost without an indication of her rank on her masquerade clothing, he stood to a relaxed attention::

Ba'el: ::Smiles:: I'm Counselor Ba'el. We haven't had a chance to meet before, so I thought this would be a good time to get to know one another.

Jori Mec: Ah! It's a pleasure to meet you, Counselor. May I say, those sleeves are positively stunning?

Ba'el: Thank you. I think you look handsome as well in your outfit for this evening

Jori Mec: ::Smiling, almost shyly:: The other engineers and the replicators did most of the hard work, I'll admit. But there is something to be said for a bit of analog tailoring.

Jori watched a lieutenant in a fiery gown pass by, laughing loudly as she hung on the arm of a charmed ensign.

Ba'el: ::looks around briefly:: Jalana likes to hold events like this after every mission, when possible. It gives the crew a chance to collectively unwind and socialize.

Jori Mec: She seems an excellent captain.::A pause:: It must have been quite a mission, to call for an afterparty like this.

Ba'el: Response

Jori Mec: Did you see many new patients after that? Oh - only if you're allowed to discuss a thing like that! Confidentiality, and all.
