((Hinji Bazaar, Starbase 104))
Her closet to any Human would easily fit in the castle of any fictional vampire. Very gothic and Victorian style attire in most cases. She always liked the look of them both, whether she had a short or a long dress. There was just something about it that screamed elegance and strength. And more than a few of her outfits incorporated armor like leather in homage to her tactical and security experience.
Park: Right, yeah that sounds nice! ::she seemed distracted slightly:: And what length were you thinking?
She walked alongside Ellie, hand in hand with a keen eye set out for any vendors selling clothing that might strike their fancy.
Lystra: I’m fine with a short or long dress so I’m flexible.
She smiled at Ellie and squeezed her hand gently. When she looked up she spotted a couple of stalls with a wide variety of styles and quickly pulled Ellie along with her.
Park: Whoa!
The two stalls seemed complimentary but also had fabrics that looked opposite to one another. Both were filled with spools of fabrics while they also had several dozen completed garments. The first stall she was immediately drawn to as it had a lot of designs that reminded her of her own wardrobe. The other stall reminded her of something. There was a word she remembered seeing during one of her many deep dives into Terran fashion. Fairycore. That’s what it was. She even saw at least one short dress that shimmered and also had a shawl that sort of looked like gossamer wings.
Lystra: Oooh, these stalls look great! The one on the left is totally my style, don’t you think?
She pointed to the stall and there were at least four designs that stood out to her. A long black velvet like dress with splits along the sides and a beautiful star in the middle. One with a dark floral design and sequins that shimmered slightly along the silver chain threading. Nestled between those two was a black and lavender short dress, that had a shawl with frilly sleeves, and beautiful stars dangling by the neck. She also noted it had stars down the front made with some slightly sparkly fabric. One further back also caught her eye. It was a dress that was entirely leather made, with a great many buckles and chains that very much reminded her of archaic armor.
Park: Hm?
Lystra: Those four stand out to me, but what do you think? Do you think any of those would look good on me, Ellie? Well, I mean for the ball. I know I could absolutely rock any of them. ::She chuckled::
Park: Oh I’d definitely love to see you in any of those if I’m honest.
She caught Ellie’s wink and felt a slight flush of heat in her cheeks that darkened them to almost a maroon shade of red.
Lystra: Good to know, but I can’t exactly wear all of them to the party. ::she chuckled::
Park: Fine, if I had to choose maybe the second one? I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them though.
When Ellie rested her head on Lystra’s shoulder she felt her heart shift up to warp and a warm, contentedness wash over her.
Lystra: I may have to buy all of them then. But the second one it is. And what about you?
Ellie pointed to the other stall where there was a white dress with round holographic sequins on a corset top and a white tool bottom that glittered and had white feathers mixed in. It was a stark contrast between the ones that Lystra had been looking at. Like the natural balance. It fit Ellie and Lystra knew she’d look amazing in it.
Park: I had my eye on that one. What do you think?
Lystra: Yes please! ::she blushed and cleared her throat:: You should totally go for that one.
Park: Response
Lystra: I think we have our costumes then.
She smiled brightly at Ellie and slipped an arm around her waist to hold her close. She already saw a mask that would work great with the outfit Ellie had encouraged her to take too. She couldn’t wait to see how the most beautiful woman she knew would react to seeing her dressed up.
((ooc: Glad to end it here since the party’s started if you want.))
