Lieutenant JG Leran Perax - Stardate: Tea Time

Learn Perax was tired. After spending a hectic few days on a rogue planet with a constant thunderstorm, returning to the Constitution only to help maintain the emergency forcefields, then keeping the structural integrity field stable for warp, he needed a break. He had been shocked when returning in the runabout to see the hull breaches on the Constitution, and upon seeing the large hole where the main shuttlebay used to be, his mouth had dropped open.
From what he had gathered, the Kamyrians had opened fire due to a misunderstanding, and the shields failed to raise. The Kamyrians’ weapons lanced across the shuttle bay, and one of the shuttles had exploded inside the bay increasing the amount of damage significantly.
He roused himself from his thoughts to put the last piece on the model of the Watchtower Class station model in place. He was now ready to paint it. Taking a look at the model and knowing that the Constitution would be docking in a half hour with the real thing was exciting. Perax couldn’t wait to explore the station, but there was something he needed to do first.
With rogue planets, ship repairs and maintenance, crew injuries, and mental anxieties and traumas caused by the attack, there had been little time for tea that he had requested months ago, and it had been pushed back. Maybe now there would be some time.
