(( Bridge - Constitution ))
Jalana had just heard from Dizzy that Ba'el was in Sick bay for
treatment. She had however no idea how that happened or why. All
they did was send Dizzy and Ba'el out in worker bees to get
samples. Why was she now in need of treatment? Did they hold
Worker Bee Olympics out there? She'd have to wait to find out and
leaned back with a deep breath, brushing her hand over her sweaty
forehead.
Rajel: =/\= Yes, keep me updated on her status. And remember to
hydrate. Rajel out. =/\= ::To Blaine:: That was Dizzy... Diz'mim
Ch'Nilmani, First Officer. He and our Counselor Ba'el were out in
the nebula in worker bees to get samples for Science.
T'Seva: And Ba'el had better be okay. What do you think happened?
McCray: Thank you for keeping me informed until I can put names to
faces. I hope they’re alright.
Rajel: ::Shaking her head:: No idea, we'll find out later why she
needed treatment. Maybe that attack damaged the bee. ::She
groaned:: Spots. How long does that cleaning take? Why is the ship
so big? I hate waiting.
And the heat did not help that either. She was not made for this
kind of raised temperature.
T'Seva: It's long enough to give us all pre-action jitters.
McCray: But good things come to those who wait. :: he said
lowly.::
Rajel: T'Seva see if the comms are already better. Blaine check if
our sensors can scan more of that other ship. Maybe we are lucky
and won't have to wait for the process to be fully done.
Blaine began to type on his console and had a report fairly
quickly.
McCray: We have another ten percent resolution. Not much better,
but it is climbing the longer we clean the chrondite.
T'Seva: Shall I try the away teams again?
Rajel: Yes please. :looking to Blaine:: That is good news. How
fast is it improving?
McCray: Another fifteen percent on the sensors and climbing.
T'Seva: Okay.
T'Seva: =/\= Constitution to Commander Foster. Do you read? =/\=
S'jenes: =/\= Ensign S'jenes to Const---ion-B. Iaon---ew intac---.
Indige---ecies confirmed. Hostile ---ment de-escala--- =/\=
Jalana looked up to T'Seva and snorted slightly. S'Jenes and
Foster were both on the same team and it appeared that they had
the same idea at the same moment. Also while there was still some
interference, she understood a lot more than before. Maybe once
the Chrondite was gone completely it would be even better.
Foster: Response
It was good to hear his voice on the other end, even with a few
interferences. To answer S'Jenes, she spoke a bit more slowly than
usual, hoping it would mean that more got through the line.
Rajel: =/\= Bridge here S'Jenes, confirmed. I will leave it to
T'Seva and Cade. =/\=
S'jenes: =/\= Response =/\=
T'Seva/Foster: Response
While T'Seva talked with her and Blaine kept an eye on the
progress Jalana prepared a message to the Kameryan ship. Right now
she trusted data packages more than a video call, it seemed to
have an easier time to get through to the other side. She laid out
that they had issues with their scanners and comms, building on
the good will and hope of this group of Kameryans being friendly
which so far they had shown soon as they had been able to
communicate a link between their people. She also asked if they
would be willing to share their findings to be able to improve on
their systems, after all the Kameryans seemed to have less issues
with the nebula.
Rajel: Blaine, I send a data package to your station, could you
send it to our Kameryan friends please?
McCray: Response
Rajel: Thank you. How far are we?
McCray: Response
Rajel: Alright we are close.
She looked to T'Seva to give her a sign that it was close to time
to reverse magnetize the hull.
T'Seva/McCray: Response
