Letting her nerves be seen wasn’t something Charlotte let happen. When she put on the Intel uniform and headed to meet her new Captain, she wondered what they were going to be like. Were they ultra professional and stuck up? Were they going to be short with her? Were they going to have the attitude of someone who knew they were better than her?
The possibilities were endless. The best way to find out was going to be facing Captain Rajel head on.
Her hand hovered over the chime for a moment, taking a deep breath before finally letting her hand touch it.

The doors hissed open. Every worry Charlotte previously had, disappeared in an instant upon taking in the sight of the room.
Bright colors, comfy furniture and the vibe was completely different from what she was used to, but that didn’t stop her from keeping her posture tight and her head held high.
Brexis: Uh, hi. ::Clearing her throat:: I am Lieutenant Junior Grade Charlotte Brexis. Your new Intelligence Officer.

It took everything in her to keep her face neutral and to stop her eyebrows from climbing up her forehead.
Brexis: Wait… What? ::With genuine confusion:: You want me to address you how?
