A new mission was not always announced to the whole ship right
away. So also this time. But having been near when the senior
officers and a select few other people had been called into a
briefing, Siance knew something was up. And then after what felt
like eternity spent waiting, she finally had heard what was going
on. Jalana had been kidnapped.
Siance had gotten close to the Trill since she had finally found
the courage to tell her that the former host of the older woman
had been Siance's father. Of course, Jalana was not her mother,
she had a mom already, but she was all that was left of her dad.
So growing close to her had been easy. To hear now that someone
has taken her made her stomach plummet at least 10 decks all the
way do the stardrive section.
While she wouldn't be part of the team to find and retrieve her,
she could still help. The team that would needed undercover
personas. Saveron had sent documentation about the mission and the
syndicate. It was extensive based on the database and other
reports to have a realistic mark-up of the team. Some species were
more or less prone to joining, so that would help.
While some officers may already have in their mind what they
wanted to do, others may need some help with that. So she sent out
a message to the crew members that would join the retrieval to
offer her assistance shall they need it.
((OOC: It's an offer for who would like to have IC help with their
new ID, you can throw tags at Siance for it, or even just mention
that Siance assisted, or not take her offer at all :) ))
