Pretak: Frank,... :: He knew he couldn't hear him since he's out of the field so he moved in cautiously as it seemed that they're finished. :: Is everything okay?

Foster: Mister Montanari, can you hear me?

Frank blinked his eyes for a moment trying to clear the spots from his vision. Wow...what a ride! He thought. He turned when he heard his name called.

Montanari: Yeah...I mean, Yes sir, I can hear you sir.

S’Jenes: Permission to test validity, sir?

Foster: Sure, we need to confirm the whole process worked correctly.

Frank stood as motionless as possible anxiously waiting for the scans to be completed.  All the small beeps and chirps from the device the vulcan officer was scanning him made asking questions very hard. Wow, He thought, There sure are a lot of Vulcans in this bunch.

Lystra: Just poke him already, S’jenes. ::she chuckled::

Douffet: Poke away.

Montanari: ::Looks at the others before looking back to the one called S'Jenes:: Is that really necessary?

Frank simply stood there while S'Jenes poked him lightly on the shoulder before turning back to face the others. Frank just didn't know what to say to that.

S’Jenes: :: looks to Foster:: It appears to be a success. ::looks at Lieutenant Brynes:: Are you ready to come to the future, Lieutenant?

Byrnes: Respond

Lystra: Technically, they already are. They’re just out of phase but I think I get what you mean. ::to S’Jenes::

Douffet: ::Pointing to Lystra:: She’s got a point.

Pretak: If things are okay, we should start going through it.

Montanari: ::Looks at the gathered officers:: Is there anything you need me to do?

Foster: Yes, once we have both let’s lock in the settings and start getting people over to the Aleek-Om.

S’Jenes: This log will act as a good baseline for settings regarding future transports. :: He taps across the LCARS display:: resetting for the next transport and ready on your command, sir.

Lystra: I’ve got a lock on the Lieutenant. It’s stable since we made adjustments based on what occurred with him. ::she gestured towards Frank:

Douffet: Barb, you ready?

Brynes: ::nodding once:: Locked and ready, Doc.

Pretak: If things go well, I'm coming with the next group.

Frank was about to speak up again when a warning came down from the bridge. He could see that they were all just a surprised as him.

Shimisi: =/\= Shimisi to Foster, we have a problem =/\=

Foster: =/\= What kind of problem? =/\=

Shimisi: =/\= Something has activated the hyperwarp drive. We’re trying to contain it, but you need to speed up the process. We might have issues sending you additional power, so don’t count on it fully. =/\=

Lystra: Oh, great. Must be a Tuesday. ::she grumbled:: I can confirm, Cade. Power to the transporter just dipped slightly. We may have to try beaming them in groups faster than we anticipated. ::to Frank:: So, if the hyperwarp drive turns on we’ll all end up jumping through subspace again…right?

Montanari: That's right. And it's a pretty short countdown to boot.

Douffet: Looks like we need to get a move on.

Byrnes: We can't go back there after all we went through to get back here.

S’Jenes: Based upon previous observations, that is the most probable outcome. I recommend we complete the evacuation before the drive reaches full activation.

Foster: So we have to get as many as possible as fast as possible before we all end up stuck in another subspace rift. ::he looked towards Lystra:: How many can we lock onto with our current set up?

Lystra: I just did a test to see how many solid transporter locks we can get. Any more than four and the lock becomes unstable on all of them. Unless they can give us more power I think that’s the best we’re going to get. We don’t have any more power units.

Foster: Ok, grab four, right now. I’m checking if we can… you know, make some magic happen.

Pretak: Let's pick up the other three, we can't waste time.

Douffet: I’m fresh out of magic, but I can help wrangle groups of four and keep the process going

S’Jenes:  Lieutenant... transporter lock acquisition is not the limiting factor. Significant power consumption occurs only during matter stream conversion.

Lystra: Lock is holding. Ready when you are, or we’re going to have to wait until they send us more power and hope that damned engine doesn’t activate.

Foster: Grab four. I want to track the power curve while you grab them, and how much time it takes.

Douffet: Barb, you stay. ::pointing to three others::: You, you and you, join her.

Byrnes: We'll be fine. Just keep breathing and it'll be done in no time.

S’Jenes: Recording. Pattern acquisition remains stable. EPS load is nominal until transport initiation.

Foster: Alright, the pattern shift is stabilized. ::He turned towards S’Jenes and Lystra:: I think we can do this. The signal lock isn’t what’s draining power – it’s the actual transport where the power drastically drops.  The system is limiting only to the signal locks it knows it can process. So… Lystra, I need you to de-activate the system’s safety protocols.

Pretak: I guess it's useless to ask if that is safe,.. since you're deactivating them.

Lystra: Respond

S’jenes: Analysis confirms the transporter's safety algorithms are limiting signal acquisition based upon projected transport power requirements rather than available pattern storage.

Foster: Ensign S’jenes I want you to connect the Emergency Medical Transporter with the cargo transporter with the Aleek-Om.

Pretak: I'll get the groups. If something is to happen, it better be sooner rather than later.

Lystra: Respond

S’jenes: Understood.

Foster: Yeah. ::He nodded.:: The idea is to feed all the data into the Aleek Om, catch each lock, one by one with the emergency medical transporter we are currently using, feed them into the Aleek-Om’s cargo transporter and then once we’ve grabbed every signal lock, initiate transport with the Aleek-Om’s transporters and the Aleek-Om’s power.

Lystra: Respond

S’jenes: Locked in, sir.

Foster: Alright, that’s the plan, let’s get on it!

Pretak: I'll focus on your success, as it'll mean our survival.

Montenari: ::Speaking up:: What can I do to help Doc?

Byrnes: Respond

Lystra: Respond

Douffet: Yes, let’s. ::Turning to Frank:: Can you help me do checks on the ones coming back into phase? I can’t hold the tricorder, but we have to make sure they are ready to go to the Aleek-Om. And we need someone to inform the ship of the folks we will be sending there. Barb, let’s get you scanned so we can get you over to the Aleek-Om. Then from there you can help make sure everyone is making it over safe and sound. Is that okay with you?

Montanari: Can do Doc! :: Moves to take up a position next to Douffet::

Brynes: Absolutely. I'll welcome everyone as they come over. ::She looked to the scanner and held still.::

Douffet: ::To Pretak:: Can you help keep everyone from panicking? Tell them we’ve got this and we are working on getting everyone back and to the other ship.

Pretak: I'll make sure of it. After all, the first success will encourage that it'll work for everyone else.

Frank focused on his task as they hurried to get it accomplished before time ran out. Then he joined the others in beaming over to the other Federation Starship.

( Timeskip )

((Cargo Bay One - USS Aleek-Om))

While the beam over was faily normal, Franks' first view of the Cargo bay of the Aleek-On told him just how much had changed in the intervening century they had been gone. Even the colors looked different from what he had been used to. He found himself soon standing by Lt Byrnes as they both took in their new surroundings. They exchanged few words as they processed what they were seeing around them. After a moment, Ensign Pretak joined them.

Pretak: Hey, how are you?

Byrnes: Respond

Montanari: Physically? I'm ok according to the Doctor.

Pretak: I guess we'll be checked soon, but I feel perfect. How're you adjusting?

Byrnes: Respond

MontanariStill...trying to take it all in I guess.

Pretak: It's hard to think that most of the people we know aren't around anymore,... but it's somehow exciting to be able to see our future, and experience it. Do you know they have something called replicators that can do any dish you want? Isn't that amazing?

Montanari: I heard they even have a mental health doctor on board. So I guess we're all gonna get a screening to make sure we still have all our marbles in one bag.

Byrnes: Response

Pretak: Response
