Ensign T'Ama - One Grurut Open Sled

(OOC: okay whoever was coming with T'Ama for sled rides, jump in!)

A little ways from the ski lodge there was a small building that looked cheerfully warm on the inside with a sign that said Winterdance Sledding Tours on it. Around the place were several outbuildings with animal pens attached. One had a kennel run with large beasts about as tall as T’Ama’s waist at the withers. They had absurdly long faces and long powerful tails with long bio-luminescent fringe hanging off them that glowed and changed colors, like their tail was covered in fiber optics. They were mostly white with grey to black markings, but the tails would change from blue, green, and pink like an aurora. Some were curled up in little shelters, some on top and covered in a dusting of snow. Others knuckled around their enclosure sticking their long noses into the deep snow, and smaller ones - juveniles? - would tackle each other with gusto and roll around wrestling.

T’Ama trudged along, feet crunching in the snow, past the kennel run and she wondered if these were the gruruts. Some of them jumped on the fence and curiously tried to stick their long noses through the holes at her, equally long blue tongues trying to lick her.

T’Ama: ::to grurut:: Hello.

She reached out and patted its nose and it snorted at her.

A bell tinkled merrily as the door to the office opened. T’Ama stamped the snow off her boots on the mat before stepping inside.

Eme: Welcome, welcome!

The voice was friendly and welcoming and had a serene quality to it. It belonged to an Arkenite man standing behind the desk.

T’Ama: Hi, were those gruruts outside?

Eme: Oh yes! They are native to Arentis and have proven quite adept at transport pulling. Are you here for a ride?

T’Ama: Yes, please.
