Which was always an occupational hazard on a new world or even a new ship. T'Seva herself was allergic to a very specific cleaning chemical, but was fine as long as it didn't find its way into her quarters.

He had a telescope that was pointed...right where the Connie was. T'Seva hid a smile. He was a ship watcher, of course he'd want to "bag" a Galaxy class.

Sinko: ::While pouring several mugs:: To your previous inquiry, I have observed a total of thirty two vessels over the last three months. All of which, from my understanding, were here on business, transporting family members or our usual supply shipments.
T'Seva sniffed the tea and approved. Herbal teas were important in Vulcan culture, and this one should help Lystra with her symptoms.
Lystra: So, you didn’t observe any irregularities with their arrivals or departures?
Sinko: I did not.
T’Seva: And have you noticed anything else irregular? Unusual behavior of anyone in the colony, unusual behavior of wildlife?
Lystra: ?
Sinko: I believe that Harton Lawrence is having an affair with Sheri Martin, but other than that.
T'Seva snorted most un-Vulcan laughter.
T'Seva: Is that really unusual behavior for humans?
Lystra: ?
Sinko: As to the wildlife. The vryar are migrating slightly early this year, not sure if it's a normal variation or if they've sensed something.
That could be a data point.
T'Seva: What are vryar?
Lystra: ?
Sinko: Water dwelling avians.
In other words, the geese were migrating early. Which might mean nothing or it might be vitally important.
T'Seva: Thank you...and special thanks for the tea.
Lystra: ?
Sinko: The lerr trees are in full bloom. That could be your problem.
T'Seva: Ah, normal planet occupational hazards.
