((Romulan shuttle, approaching Tucker Station))

Selok shuffled up from the replicator on his shuttle after hearing the beeping sound from his console. He took a look at the front console and turned off the alert.

T’vnek: Yes, Yes. I hear you.

He looked out the front window and saw the fleet yard station and the handful of ships situated around the space dock and dry docks. The ship the Romulan was interested in was the old Galaxy Class coming in to dock with the station. As he manoeuvred his approach, he noticed the damage to the hull that the ship had sustained.

oO Well, Starfleet did occasionally build tough ships. It’s like my father used to… Oo

The comm system activated.

Dalton: =/\= This is Tucker Station to Romulan vessel. You are in violation of the Neutral Zone treaty and are in restricted space. Fleet yard defenses are locking on to you. Explain your presence and prepare for boarding. =/\=

T’vnek: ::his voice is booming and slightly panicked:: =/\= Hold up! I’m hardly a vessel. I’m just a personal shuttle craft. Also, I have permission to be here from Admiral Takashima. She would be extremely unhappy if you shot me down. Lastly, I have letters of recommendation to the commanding officer of the USS Constitution from the United Federation of Planets Commerce and Business Bureau. Transmitting Admiral Takashima’s approval now. =/\=

A moment of silence occurred in which Selok presumed the traffic controller was reviewing the approval form.

Dalton: =/\= Romulan vessel you will proceed to the USS Constitution directly. Any deviation from that course will be considered hostile. Tucker Station, out. =/\=

oO You’d think that he doesn’t trust me! Oo

Selok banked his shuttle and set a course directly for the Constitution. As he approached the starship, he opened a channel to the shuttle bay operator and resigned himself to go over the same conversation again.

Several minutes passed before he was allowed to dock his shuttle. He was pleased to see that the crew manning the shuttle deck seemed confused and surprised by his shuttle. After all, how many Romulan shuttles tend to dock on federation starships?

When he opened the hatch, he made sure that he wore the old, but immaculately kept, robes that he had worn when he was a Senatorial aide. First impressions were often the most important. After consulting a map diagram of the deck, he walked to the turbolift doors at the end of the shuttle  bay corridor.

Stepping inside he looked at the ship schematic.

oO If I were the commander of the ship where would I be? Yes, the command center. Now what did they call their command center? ::he located the place on the schematic:: Oh, yes the bridge! Oo

T’vnek: Take me to the Bridge!

Computer: Unable to comply. Bridge unavailable to unauthorised personnel.

oO Well, fvadt. Oo

He glanced at the display on the turbolift wall and found a comm button. Pressing it he spoke in his most booming, elegant, and confident voice.

T’vnek: =/\= hello, commanding officer, I’m having a bit of trouble with the turbolift. =/\=

Rajel: =/\= response =/\=

T’vnek: Well, I’m brand new onboard, and I’m not authorized to visit the bridge. I was hoping to pay my respects.

Rajel: =/\= response =/\=

((OOC: Dalton is a genetic npc))
