Late! She was late to the party! Lystra was so annoyed with herself, she’d wanted to arrive at the party with Ellie but had been so nervous she ended up spending way too long trying to make sure her outfit was just right. She was wearing the one Ellie had said she liked the most when they were at the Hinji Bazaar. Even though the Boslic had actually bought all four dresses that she’d pointed out to Ellie. As well as a certain necklace.
Lystra: oO Stars, this is worse than that time on Bajor when I couldn’t talk to that merchant’s daughter without stammering. Easy, Lys, you were only seven then. This is way different. Oo
The holodeck doors stood right in front of her, she took a moment to take a very deep breath and slipped the masquerade mask she’d gotten down over her face. Since Boslic’s had an easily identifiable forehead ridge she’d opted for a full mask. Her sparkling white eyes would of course still give her away. She didn’t bother with contacts or anything like that.
She pressed the button to open the holodeck doors and slowly stepped in as she saw everything arrayed in front of her, and all her shipmates and friends having fun.
Lystra smoothed out her dress as she stepped in and waved to a few people before she began her hunt. It didn’t take her long to find the most gorgeous woman in the room. Talking with Yirah. So she approached and waited at a distance.
Yirah: And to answer your question from earlier... ::gesturing to his plate:: It's a daedra flavored cake with raspberry jam.

The Boslic approached and tipped her head slightly to both of them. Behind her full mask she was smiling the biggest smile right at Ellie. Another benefit of a full mask was it hid how much she was flustered.
Lystra: Hey. Don’t want to interrupt. I just wanted to say hi to the most beautiful woman in the quadrant. And apologize for being fashionably late. ::she looked towards Yirah:: Nice outfit!

Lystra: Well of course, you’re gorgeous in anything Ellie. But you already know that. oO Starrrrrs that was cheesy. Oo

Lystra: Well, I can make it up to you with a dance later. ::she looked around a moment:: I see Kincaid’s done his usual magic. Do either of you want a drink? I can go grab some. It’s the least I can do, for interrupting your conversation.
