(( USS Icarus - Deck 3))

Rajel: I found two Franks. One is Frank Klyne from Operations and the other Frank Montanari, Helmsman. ::Her fingers moved the little lever to scroll through the list.:: I also found Byrnes that T'Seva mentioned. Barb, Communications Officer. This confirmes that they are part of the crew.

McCray: So, the question is, which Frank are we dealin’ with? I’d bet Helm, but I’m no betting man.

Yirah: Makes sense to me.

Rajel: The face I saw. I think it was this one. The Helmsman. Can you ask him?

McCray: You bet.

Her eyes remained on the console not seeing what the guys were doing behind her or if Frank answered. She assumed that if he would they would tell her. And Frank did have a question...

Rajel: Now that we know they really are the crew, we need to find a way to bring them back. S'Jenes is working on an idea, maybe one of the others has some thoughts on that too. So what we need to know now is ... what happened. Let's check if we find anything in the logs that helps us with that.

McCray: Maybe I can find somethin’ here… Logs or somethin’.

Yirah: Do you know how many of you there are?

Montanari: Approximately 70-80 personnel, officers and enlisted. I had heard there were some injuries before our last test jump, but not much else. Did you find them?

Rajel: Right. And ask Frank. He was here after all. Blaine could you, please?

Yirah: The security terminal requires clearances to access. You wouldn't by chance have those Jalana?

Rajel: Ah yes right. I do.

She reached down to her boots and pressed a button before walking over to the Security Terminal. Her own code was of no use here, according to the ship's computer she didn't even exist yet. Well not in Starfleet under this name anyway. But Admiral Hayes had give her the override code.

Rajel: There, all yours now.

Blaine typed on the PADD. :: Which Frank are you? :: He sat it back down and watched it from the corner of his eyes as he continued trying to access the computer from the Helm console.

Montanari: Ensign Frank Montanari, Helmsman.

Reading the PADD after realizing that she screen was blinking, Blaine looked up.

McCray: He’s the helmsman, Ensign Montanari.

Yirah: If Frank is here, I wonder where the captain is?

Rajel: They might be here too and not able to communicate, or anywhere else on the ship trying to find out what happened. In the best case there is. ::She offered Indrid a brief nod and smile as the console unlocked.:: There you go all yours.

McCray: Where is your Captain?

Montanari:  I don't know. I haven't seen Captain Dathal since right before our last jump.

Blaine read the blinking letters and looked up.

McCray: Apparently, the Captain hasn’t been seen since right before the last jump. That’s the one they said went haywire.

Yirah: Response

Rajel: Well worst case.. we don't know yet where they have been and what they experienced. But coming back with an immediate power failure could be that they were attacked. That's why we have to check the logs.

Blaine’s fingers stumbled over the console as he tried hard to remember the user interface from over a hundred and thirty years previous. He’d had a class on it his sophomore year of college, but…

Montanari/Yirah/Rajel: Response

Rajel: Do you think those tribbles got anything to do with it? ::She asked with a little grin. Wouldn't be the first time Tribbled had caused chaos on a ship.:: Or is that just an unrelated incident?

Montanari/Yirah: Response

Rajel: Anything from Frank about what he remembers?

McCray: ::Writing on the PADD:: What do you remember, Frank?

Montanari: It's all a blur after Captain Dathal ordered us to jump. Before that, everything was nominal.

Blaine read the response, trying to think of things that might jog Frank’s memory.

McCray: He said before the last jump, everything was nominal, but it’s a blur after that.

He started writing back. :: Anything at all will be helpful. Don’t hold back. What did it feel like? Shimmies or shudders as the ship moved? Were there any smells? Were there any sounds?

Montanari/Yirah/Jalana: Response

Blaine waited for Frank’s response, on the edge of his seat as he watched the PADD and thought up more questions to ask.

Montanari/Yirah/Jalana: Response
