(( Tucker Station Shipyards))
As if Prendar hadn’t already given Charlotte a few reasons to dislike him. Every time he told her more, she wondered if he would eventually say something that didn’t rub her the wrong way. It only continued to get worse.
Prendar: Even got into a friendly wrestling match with your resident lizard.
Brexis: Our what now?
Prendar: You know of the big lizard that haunts the Constitution, right? I’ve assumed you’ve done your research.
Lizard? How dense was this man? How was she supposed to believe some nonsense about a lizard? She thought about the faces she saw on the Intel list and all the ones that would immediately tell this guy off. That’s when it occurred to her. Nugra... Lizard.
She crossed her arms over her chest and huffed.
Brexis: Are you always this disrespectful or are you putting on a show specially for me?
Prendar: A bit of both.
Brexis: I’m going to take a guess that you didn’t win the wrestling match.
She almost laughed. But pulled it back before it could escape past her lips.
Prendar: Against a Gorn? I think that’s pretty much a given.
Brexis: ::Pointing at him:: Don’t go thinking you can challenge me to a wrestling match. ::Lowering her voice:: I don’t play fair.
Thomas stretched his arms and yawned.
Prendar: My wrestling days are long over, Lieutenant. Make most of the career you got. It’s over before you know it.
Brexis: I don’t go around wrestling Gorn. So.. I think I’m doing just fine career wise.
Which was mostly true. She was still only a JG and had been in security, Strat Ops and now Intel.
Prendar: It goes by quite fast. One moment, you’re a fresh faced Ensign and before you know it, you’re a retired Commander doing security work.
She sighed a bit dramatically and just blinked at him.
Brexis: As long as I don’t turn out as lovely as you. I think I’ll be alright.
Prendar: :: holding up PADD :: Actually. You want to do me a favor? The Gorn Senior Commander Nugra is expecting this PADD. Encrypted intelligence to his own key. He wanted hand delivered. I assume you’re a trustworthy sort.
Brexis: I thought I’ve already proven I am the trustworthy type. ::Holding out her hand:: I planned on speaking with Nugra anyway. I can deliver it to him safely.
She stood there with her hand out far longer than she wanted to.
Prendar: Response
Brexis: I can have him confirm with you once it’s delivered.
Prendar: Response
((OOC: I am happy to wrap this up whenever you are!))
