Ba'el had overheard the brief conversation between the FO and Jalana. She began taking stock of her situation when the Andorian FO called her directly.

Ch'Nilmani: =/\= So, since we didn't plan to space walk, we don't have suits. By any chance do you have an emergency one in your pod? I know I don't. =/\=

The Counselor quickly checked around the pods interior and came up empty.

oO Well, this is why we can't have nice things! Oo

Ba'el: =/\= Not that I can find Commander, any other ideas? =/\=

Ch'Nilmani: =/\= Well, one option is try to get the Constitution's transporters to lock on us and beam us out but that could scramble us, but that requires lowering the shields. I know Jalana would try it if we asked but I don't want to jeopardize the ship.

Ba'el: ::Looking back to the ship herself:: =/\= Unfortunately I have to agree Commander. Anything else? =/\=

Ch'Nilmani: =/\= My other idea is crazy but could work. =/\=

Ba'el: ::Smirking:: Well, according to Murphy's Laws of War, Klingon Edition " If it's crazy but it works, then it's not crazy." WHat did you have in mind? =/\=

Ch'Nilmani: =/\= The average humanoid can last 15 seconds in the vacuum of space before losing consciousness and 90 seconds before death. We get you as close to the a hatch as possible, key it open remotely, and then you jump. I give you a nice bump with my pod to make you cross that gap quickly before the 15 seconds are up, giving you time to pressurize. =/\=

((OOC: Yes, I googled how long a human could stay alive in the vacuum of space. lol ))

Ba'el: =/\= Hah! Klingons are more robust than other humanoids. We can endure the vacuum of space for18 seconds before losing consciousness! Still, it's not something we particularly enjoy any more than any other species. =/\=

Ch'Nilmani: =/\= I didn't say it was a good idea. =/\=

Ba'el: =/\= Yes, well attempting to board a ship in space, without a spacesuit, does fit in the bad ideas category very nicely. =/\=

Ch'Nilmani: =/\= I'm all antenna if you have another. I'm not quite keen on playing baseball with my lieutenant. =/\=

Ba'el: =/\= I prefer hockey to baseball. But still, the analogy is sound. Alright, how do we proceed? =/\=

Ch'Nilmani: =/\= Respond =/\=

Ba'el listened as Diz laid out his impromptu plan. It did not make her feel all warm and squishy inside at all.

oO  Yeah, this is definitely going to be unpleasant. Oo

Ba'el: =/\= We might want to give Constitution a heads up so they can have a rescue team on standby when I arrive. =/\=

Ch'Nilmani: =/\= Respond =/\=

Ba'el: =/\= Do you have any particular entry point in mind for this little adventure? =/\=

Ch'Nilmani: =/\=Respond=/\=

Ba'el: ::Checking her displays, and notes the atmosphere is thinning:: =/\= Well, let's get to it shall we? =/\=

Ch'Nilmani: =/\= Respond
