(  Northern Hemisphere - Collecting spot seven aka Geyser valley )

Walking through the forest always felt good, despite the hardships of being in this distant and foreign planet, no sun, no warm winds like on Kamir, he missed the greenland of hir planet, but that will only encourage hir will to get back and enjoy it. Hir can feel the vibration of the alien nature of this planet and can begin to understand how it works and how this nature has evolved to survive the conditions present in this nebula and they've managed to harness it's potential while looking for what they needed for their people. It took them some time, to start harvesting them and Utan had managed to transplant some of them to a specific spot in order to study them better and see them grow, knowing them and becoming familiar with their way of living.

Since every plant is a living thing, they all strive to survive and knowing them will help in knowing the whole biology of the flora of the planet. The geysers of the planet were a great source of water and release of warmth that gave the ecosystem what it needed to survive. As hir was wandering, a strange movement called hir attention, so hir blended between a few trees and bushes, becoming steady, lowering hir vital sign, pulse, breathing and hoped that the different plants on hir clothing will make him blend even more with the nature.

A few minutes later, some figures appeared, wearing suits, probably to protect themselves from the environment they consider hostile. They obviously weren't as akin to nature as the Kameryans, probably more devoted to technology, what made them untrustworthy for Utan, so thy observed their behaviour in order to study them and see what they do with the nature around them.

As they advanced, they noticed one of the small creatures that lived there, free and contempt with its life. Utan had known that little beasts that was mostly friendly, but you have to keep your distance from it. At one point, one of them fired what seemed to be an energy weapon, causing the creature to absorb it. Should they've spent some time investigating instead of acting, they'd have known that wouldn't work since they're adapted to the atmosphere energy discharges. It took them saturating it's ability to incapacitate it.

What they'll do next will give Utan a key point to know what they're, what they want and what were their morals regarding life, specially with a non-intelligent form like that, at least, non-intelligent compared with the ones able to build technology and travel through space.

When they started to move up to a ridge, hir followed them at a distance, cautiously, as they seemed more focused on getting to their next destination as they endured the planet's winds and lightnings that illuminated their path. Hir observed them as they got to a spot they found out it was suitable and began setting up something. From the distance Utan couldn't tell what it was exactly, but hir knew they need to do something about it, since they couldn't risk loose all they've worked for because the intromission of some foreigners. Hir couldn't tell exactly who they're talking to, but something need to be done and it was needed to confer with the Petryr before acting.
