Ch'Nilmani: I think that list is decently balanced. Go ahead and implement it, Lieutenant.

Ba'el: ::Pleased with his response:: Aye Sir! ::Turns back to her console and begins calling personnel to report to the shuttle deck::

((OOC: To clarify, the type-9 shuttles are npcs and are just out there. ))

Ch'Nilmani: Alrighty then. Let's get this sucker ready for the nebula. You all know we're gonna wind up going in there in the long run.

Ba'el: ::Nodding:: Aye Sir ::turns back to her console and continue to get the shuttle screen launched and in place.

T'Seva: response

Ch'Nilmani: T'Seva, bring us to silent yellow alert. Shields only.

T'Seva: response

Ch'Nilmani: Ba'el, one of the jobs of an First Officer is to anticipate the needs of the Commanding Officer based on the commands being given. In this case, since we're dealing with a nebula and I'm calling for only shields, what do you think would be the best thing to check and do to support that order?

Ba'el considered the question for a brief moment before giving her reply.

Ba'el: Because of the hazards involved, coordinate with engineering and medical to have emergency teams on standby in case anything happens.

Ch'Nilmani: Yes, that's a good thought. I know my request was rather subjective but that's because you and I are not that familiar in command together. As you serve your CO, you'll learn what they mean and what they expect. Does that make sense?

Ba'el: It does sir.

Ch'Nilmani: Anything more on your sensor preparations? I know you haven't had a lot of chance to look at it just yet.

T'Seva: response

Ba'el: Shuttles will be ready for launch in 10 minutes. ::Put's up a display showing the proposed shuttle screening pattern:: This is the screening pattern I think best suits the situation.

Ch'Nilmani: Respond

T'Seva: Respond

Ba'el: As we are deploying only three shuttles, this gives some overlap, and, ::highlights weapons coverage on the screen:: ensures that all three are within weapons coverage at all times should the need arise.

Ch'Nilmani: Respond

T'Seva: Respond

Ba'el: We can link each shuttles sensor system with the ships, thus improving our ability to tagrte phasers if needed. It is limited, but until we fine tune our sensors, this is the best option, in my opinion.
