(( USS Constitution-B – Engineering ))

Mingxing was glad that So'Mior seemed to be willing to work with him on the spot, no previous warnings or detailed mission. So he got onto the main point of his call and they're ready to meet and get onto the job.

Shimisi: =/\= I can get to you, if you're in a science lab or in any other place where we can analyze what we've go so far, I can uplink engineering data to see how we can improve our data gathering =/\=

So'Mior: =/\=I am currently on Deck 9, Research lab 17. The Research labs are customizable, or Stellar Cartography is on this deck and has the best sensor access.=/\=

Shimisi: =/\= Oh, yes, that should be pretty good option. So, it's okay for us to meet there? =/\=

So’Mior: =/\= Yes, Sir. That is amenable.=/\=

Shimisi: =/\= All right, I've sent Motha and S'Rrrrell to have a first hand check on the sensor systems, so anything we need to modify or repair, they'll be ready. =/\=

So’Mior: =/\= Before we meet is there any specific spacial interference from the nebula that we should focus on? =/\=

Shimisi: =/\= Well, random ionization seems to be an issure. It also affected tractor beam coherence, so I guess it should be related. In general is a standard nebula of its type, but,... who knows. Maybe you have knowledge that applies to the composition. =/\=

So’Mior: =/\= Yes, I am knowledgeable on the subject. I will ensure we can connect to the science databanks so we can correlate the possible effects that would hamper or damage our sensor readings.=/\=

Shimisi: =/\= Perfect! I'll see you in a few minutes. =/\=

With that, the channel closed and Mingxing got the latest adjustments they've made to the sensors and the results obtained. Then he made sure he has a stable link to the engineering sensor adjustments and moved out to get to the Stellar Cartography.

( Deck 9 – Stellar Cartography )

As he get to the main deck of the lab, he noticed So'Mior was already there. He expected that much.

Shimisi: Hello, thanks for the help.

So'Mior: Response

Shimisi: We've been trying to improve sensor readings to follow our shuttles through the nebula to the planet. Despite the nebula seemed pretty standard, the particular ionization pattern is making it difficult to get everything like in normal space.

So'Mior: Response

Shimisi: Feel free to check our work and point out whatever we can do to better the results. As I mentioned, the tractor beam was also affected, so I guess it could be another symptom of the same problem.

So'Mior: Repsonse

Shimisi: We have Motha and S'Rrrrell in sensor monitoring and maintenance, so we can have direct information from those systems while we work from here.

So'Mior: Response
