((Lystra’s Quarters, USS Constitution-B, Tucker Station))
In the years she’d been on board the Conny she had never had shore leave at a shipyard so it had been a treat so far. Between the joyride with Cade and the others, and being able to see so many beautiful ships being built. She’d spent most of her time watching the ships as much as possible.
She’d just stepped out of the sonic shower and was trying to decide which ship she was going to check today. So far she’d only seen about half of the ships at the yards. When the shipwide boomed with Dizzy’s voice.
Ch'Nilmani: =/\= Ch'Nilmani to Crew. This is a yellow alert recall. All selected crew on this transmission are activated and need to arrive at Docking Port 22-B Section 3. Once you have boarded, find your departments, prepare it and report your status. More details will be provided once everyone is on board. We'll be undocking ASAP. =/\=
She stepped to her computer as she heard it chirp and saw that she was one of the selected crew. She quickly scrambled to get her uniform.
Lystra: Docking port twenty two? Are we leaving the Conny behind?
There was a knot in her gut at the thought of leaving her home behind if they were going on a mission. Then her mind raced with more questions as she tried to figure out what ship they might be switching to. Maybe it was just a transport of some kind to take them wherever they were going.
((Security, USS Aleek-Om))
She bounded into the security office, because it certainly couldn’t be called a complex considering how much smaller it was than the one on the Conny, and looked around. She had been excited to see that the ship at docking port 22-B was a Nova class. She’d never been on one and while it was sleek and beautiful once she was on board she realized just how tiny the thing was by comparison.
She understood why only some of the crew had been selected to come on board. There was no way you could fit a thousand people on board this ship. But it was quaint. Serving on a Galaxy-class for so long she came to the realization that she’d been spoiled.
Lystra: So help me, if the armory on this ship is a closet I’m going to scream.
Anyone: Response
