S’jenes: There’s nothing here.

Ba’el: ::Loos back to S'Jenes:: I'm telling you I saw someone!

S’jenes: Trust me, I am not discounting that account. I saw something as well. What could still be alive that didn’t arrive with us?

T’Seva: That would be large and moving? Nothing I can think of. I checked the manifest, they had no hortas on board.

Ba’el: ::Turns to T'Seva:: The manifest didn't indicate any Tribbles either did it?

S'Jene kept moving.

S’jenes: T’Seva, anything on our 6 o clock?

T’Seva: No.

The trio proceeded farther along the corridor, constantly scanning, with eyes and tricorders checking every centimeter of space for anything out of the ordinary.

S’jenes: They always say “in space, no one can hear you scream” right?

T’Seva: If by they you mean humans.

Ba'el considered that for a moment before she spoke up.

Bael: Based on my recent experience, I can assure you, T'Seva, that that is a fairly universal standard.

S’jenes: Good then they won’t hear this.. :: squeals at the top of his lungs::

T’Seva: :: managing not to laugh, even though it might relieve the tension. :: What is it?

Ba’el: ::Laughing:: That was rather high pitched. Did you sit on my D'k' tagh when I wasn't looking?

S’jenes: Unsure of what it is exactly, :: looks back at them:: and that scream… Didn’t happen, officially. What do you think it is?

Ba'el: ::Still glancing around:: Unofficially, I hope you didn't do that on an open channel. Otherwise someone may have just browned their undergarments. Asto what I think it is...a hologram perhaps?

T’Seva: A hologram? No, not nearly enough power.

Yet all three had seen the phantasmal figure. It's image wavering like smoke in an unfelt breeze. It had appeared ,and then, vanished. Leaving no trace of itself behind.

T'Seva: :: with slightly forced calm :: Did either of you bring a hammer?

Ba'el: Why would I bring a hammer?

S'Jenes: Respond

T'Seva: Or any small tool.

Ba'el: ::Pulling out her Kerambit:: I have a blade. Not sure if that will help.

S'Jenes: Respond

Ba'el looked on as T'Seva seemed to be working out an idea in her mind. The slight look of concentration on her face indicated she was running the problem internally. As for herself, Klingons did not believe in the concept of "ghosts" specifically. But did believe in a warriors spirits travelling to Sto-vo-Kor. What humans would call Valhalla, a place for the honored dead. She knew that T'Seva was part Bajoran, and that she was raised Bajoran. Ba'el knew little about Bajoran spirituality, but she could assume they had their own views on this topic. Sj'enes, On the other hand, was half Vulcan and half Betazoid. Ba'el knew that Vulcans had very specific beliefs about a persons "essence". She took this all into consideration before speaking up again.

Ba'el: Is it possible that what we are seeing, we just don't want to admit to seeing?

T'Seva: Respond

S'Jenes: Respond

Ba'el gestured back to where they had seen the apparition had briefly appeared.

Ba'el: What if what we saw was a spirit, ghost, phantom....whatever.

T'Seva: Respond

S'Jenes: Respond

Ba'el started to pace back and forth as she spoke, her eyes still scanning around in an attempt to spot their mysterious figure again.

Ba'el: This ship "disappeared" 136 years ago. We do not know where it exactly went. The information says a faster form of warp drive, but perhaps it accidentally ended up somewhere else.

T'Seva: Respond

S'Jenes: Respond

Ba'el carefully considered what she was about to say. She looked the other two members of the away team in the eye when she spoke next.

Ba'el: Klingons call it Gre'Thor, humans call it hell...
