SydT: Did anyone feel that?
Ch'Nilmani: Unfortunately, Yes.
Park: ::huffing:: What he said.
SydT: Ah, Doc, do you have anything on your scanner?
Park: Well I thought I did for a moment but it seems to be on the fritz now.
She frowned at her tricorder and started working on trying to get it to working again.
Ch'Nilmani: We're going to take this slow. If you two can start investigating that jefferies tube to see if you can spot something, I'll update Jalana.
SydT nodded as the doctor gave a thumbs-up.
Park: You got it!
SydT continued to observe her surroundings. She was trying to gain control over her emotions, while she was not a Vulcan she wished for the moment that she was. She took a breath and released it. Okay, there was darkness, as space always is. There was cold, again as space always is. But there is something else. She shook her head. No! It had to be the passing of her grandmother making her feel things that weren't there.
As the Commander reached out to the Captain, Ellie looked at SydT nervously before venturing out towards the jeffries tube.
(OOC: Leaving out Diz’s convo to Jalana here)
Park: There must be a purely logical explanation for this.
SydT: I agree. ::She shown the lantern around the darkness.:: But what Doc?
SydT noticed suddenly that the doctor was trying to open the jefferies door and having trouble.
Park: Oh! It’s properly closed. Can you help?
SydT: Absolutely.
SydT began to help Park. The thing was really stuck. She imagined the cold seeping through her suit and shook her head again.
Ch'Nilmani: Well...find anything?
Park: We found it didn’t just close, it was stuck! I’m no expert but that would imply a large amount of force.
SydT: Someone or something of appropriate Klingon size.
Ch'Nilmani: Response
Park: Response
SydT peered into the abyss of the ship. There was something... no.
SydT: Hey. ::her voice was quiet. And when no one noticed she spoke up.:: Hey!
Ch'Nilmani/Park: Response
A door closed from the other direction, sounding through the corridor.
SydT: I thought I say someone, but they were gone before I could see who.
Ch'Nilmani/Park: Response
SydT: Should we?
Ch'Nilmani/Park: Response
SydT nodded. She took the first step forward towards the unknown. She could tell they were all attempting to be quiet to try to hear anything else.
Ch'Nilmani/Park: Response
