T'Seva: I would assume at least one person down there knows morse code, for example. It might pierce the interference better than spoken communication. Once we have the enhancers out, if its still bad, I'll send a message in that.
Jalana was confused for a moment since this was not the status she had been asking for but could understand the focus on the pressing issue and nodded.

Jalana tapped on the comm badge instead of the button on the arm rest because she would have to get up from the beanbag chair first.

While Jalana messed with the center chair, T'Seva opened comms to the bees. Even at that short range, there was a little bit of static, but it wasn't, thankfully, meaningfully effecting communication.

She was lightening the mood...they'd been in worse situations, but lack of full communication often led to tension.

With the conversation over, she turned her attention back to Rajel. Who seemed to be concentrating on something.
T'Seva: Did you find something, Jalana?
Rajel: We received an automated repeating message from one of the teams. It's defragged like a Sehlat got its claws on it, but with the repetition different parts of the same message are decipherable.
T'Seva: That's brilliant. Repeating it so that we can get it all. We should find out who did that and give them a commendation.

She was slightly embarrassed she hadn't thought of it.
Rajel: So far I put together a part of a coordinate, waiting for another repetition to put it together. They also have geothermal heat, some lifeform with lightning rod ..something, bad weather and something about a beach. To get all this I had to listen to it four times.
