((Bridge, Deck 1, USS Aleek Om))

Turning back to her monitor, Victoria brought up data on the unidentified warp signature.

Sinclair: It’s the one bearin’ 299 mark 38, headin’ 146 mark 210.

She sent him the read out. She knew with some time she probably could work out the speed, but the Elaysian running the helm position had the computer interfaces open that could do the calculations almost instantly.

Felbri: Response

While the Elaysian answered, Victoria began comparing the warp signature to those of warp capable species that wouldn’t show up immediately in a list of common contacts, digging deeper into records of warp signatures.

Sinclair: I’m opening up files tae determine the warp signature in a mair detailed search. I can eliminate the major pow’rs Romulan, Klingon, an’ Cardassian would be immediately recognized. I can also eliminate some o’ the minor pow’rs such as the Ferengi.

Kvash/Felbri: response

She quickly switched through different filters.

Sinclair: Alreigh’ let’s trae again. ::she waited a few moments:: It’s one o’ five signatures. It coid be a Mirak ship, a Tzenkethi ship, a Lyran ship, a Kzinti, or a Sheliak ship. I’m gunna have tae compare the five manually.

Kvash/Felbri: response

Bringing up side by side images of the warp signatures, she began to compare them. She quickly eliminated the felinoid ships. The warp signature was too high in the theta radiation range for any of them. The Mira’s ship gave off too little theta radiation instead, and Tzenkethi… She paused, no, the subspace fold profile was too severe on the mystery ship. The Sheliak ship had similarities but too much neutrino radiation.

Sinclair: I’ve got th’ warp signature o’ th’ mystery ship. It’s a something new.

Kvash/Felbri: response

Sinclair: ::she glanced at the sector map where a new warp signature bloomed:: It’s like nothing I’ve ev’r seen! It’s coming from th’ Icarus!

Kvash/Felbri: response

Then she looked again at the map, the mystery ship had changed course. It was heading straight towards them and increasing speed.

Sinclair: I recommend an alert, Sir.

Kvash/Felbri: response

Within minutes it was there. Hanging in space in nearby.

D'Sena: =/\= D'Sena to Bridge. Tactical sensors picked up an approaching ship while my console was in a reboot sequence. =/\=

Sinclair waited for the Klingon to speak, as she seemed to be the officer in charge.

Bridge: =/\= Response =/\=

D'Sena: =/\= According to the Sensor data it is similar to the ships that attacked Hermes Station two years ago. =/\=

Sinclair: =/\= Tha’ is th’ exact problem we’ve been hevving. The ship disnae match anything we hev on record. =/\=

Victoria brushed a lock of her hair away from her face

D'Sena: =/\= Please confirm. Ship has stopped Starboard of the Icarus. ::He raised her brows.:: I'm registering transporters... towards the Icarus. =/\=

She nodded to the Klingon who outranked her, signaling that she could confirm transporter activity.

Bridge: =/\= Response =/\=

Sinclair: We’re being hailed.

Kvash/Felbri: response

Mystery Ship: =¡!= Attention organic infestations. You have been found in violation of the Treaty of Algeron article III, Section 5, subsection 13, paragraph 4. Your metaweapon will be confiscated as evidence. If you attempt to intervene, your lives are forfeit. =¡!=

Sinclair: How completely improper

Kvash/Felbri: response

D’Sena: =/\= response =/\=
