PNPC Maiman Terpes: A different perspective from afar

While the away teams were down on the planet, Maiman helped with the day to day work on the ship. Getting to know the individuals of the ship was something needed in her field of duty. The Galaxy class offered a wide variety of individuals, different ages, genders, species and cultures and she's ready to know them, despite that she had to hold herself to open too much.
Fortunately, while doing medical treatments people didn't found strange for her to wear her gloves, so she was able to mingle with them as well as the medical crew, who were working on a different basis as usua, given the mission on the planet. She still has to get their confidence and trust them too, not that she didn't, as they're all Starfleet and she knew she can count on them, but personal confidence was something else. Only through time and experience she could forge relationships and get a normal life like many others do while serving Starfleet.
As she finished her shift, she went over a quick meal, as she wanted to get over the colony files to know more about the inhabitants. One reason was practical, in case she needs to treat them in a physical or psychological but another reason was to see if there was something in their profiles that could get a lead about if any of them could be related to the origin of their problems.
After a few minutes she couldn't get a clear picture that any of them could be the origin of the problems, but navigating through the colony files, she checked the original schematics of the colony and was curious about how it has evolved through the years. She found that the layout has changed two times, and as they're nearer to the current date they focused on a more organized pattern, probably due to some of their needs being covered and being able to focus more on organization than on surviva and she wondered if it was because of Mr. Bolen work or just a collective integration of the inhabitants of the colony. The answer to that could help to draw a picture of the colony society, their interactions, interdependence and power values. She hoped that that could be an asset in case anything goes wrong with the diplomacy with the colony.
