(( USS Constitution-B – Dickens's quarters ))
( Departure date )
The morning started and Mingxing started with a sense of energy so he did some stretching before taking a sonic shower and putting on his uniform. Reviewing the engineering sehedule he checked the inventory register for the supplies they requested upon their arrival and made sure everything was listed. With that first part checked, he checked his pips and comm badge were right in place, his boots polished and his personal PADD at hand, then moved out of his quarters towards engineering.
( Engineering )
Upon his arrival, he looked around and saw that everyone who needed to be there, was there and he logged into a terminal leaving the padd next to the console. They had an hour before departure and he ordered a level three diagnostic on the primary computer systems. He estimated that between the acknowledging of the order, performing it and getting the report, he'll know the status of the ship in about fifteen minutes, enough to send the report to the Ops bridge station so they'll be up to date for the moment the Commodore says,.. whatever she says!
( Present time – Entering the nebula )
The engineering crew had been keeping things steady and as they're informed of their entering the nebula Shimisi made sure they put some extra attention on the energy coils and stability of the impulse engines.
Shimisi: All right, if they're secured, just let me know if anything comes around.
( OOC: Perax, Mec, feel free to interact with Mingxing as you see fit )
As things seemed to be going smooth, they only got some issues with sensors, but that was to be expected. Then, the comm system activated bringing the voice of the Commodore.
Rajel: =/\= Bridge to Engineering. I need you to try to improve our sensors. I know it’s difficult but I need to be able to see where we are flying. =/\=
Shimisi: =/\= Understood, we'll do what we can. Engineering out. =/\= :: He looked around :: All right, aside from boosting power to sensors, how can we let them see something better?
Mec/Perax: Response
Shimisi: Maybe we can use a Class four probe to go ahead and rely the information to us.
Mec/Perax: Response
Anyone: Response (even PNPC or NPCs)
Shimisi: We can always find a good viewing port, like in ten forward, and rely the image to the bridge...
He said that with a smirk in his face towards the others.
