( Isolation Ward - Sick Bay - USS Constitution-B)
At a lull in the conversation, Maiman spoke up again. Ba'el, and Malyz both turned to look at her.
Terpes: Excuse me… I’m not sure I can help you,… my brother told me that you can help me… help us…
Ba’el: Well, I can certainly try.
Terpes: What should I do?
Ba’el: Well, Why don't you come with me. We'll set up a space to work in and see what we can do.
Terpes: There are many things I don't know... I've felt things... but they left as quick as they came.
Ba'el led her colleague to the isolation ward. She paused, turned and nodded to Malyz, before turning back to lead Maiman to Isolation.
Malyz: Response
Once inside the Isolation Bay, Ba'el motioned for Maiman to take a seat on one of the biobeds and waited for the Ullian to get comfortable before speaking again.
Ba'el: Now, let's see how we can we help you
Terpes: I don't know... I'm pretty confused. All this has been... weird. Can you tell me something?
The Counselor could see that her colleague was in distress and put on her warmest expression to comfort the other woman.
Ba'el: Of course. What do you want to know?
Terpes: When I was... older,... were we... friends?
Ba'el: Of course. We are friends, as well as, colleagues working in the same profession.
Terpes: Response
Ba'el picked up a PADD from the small table next to the bed and quickly pulled up Maiman's biographical information, along with copies some personal log entries. Then handed it to the other woman.
Ba'el: Here, this is you. Take a moment to read through the information here, read the entries to your personal log. Re-read them a few times if you need to. If you have further questions, I'm right here.
Terpes: Response
Ba'el sat on the next bed, across from Maiman, so she could be at hand to answer any other questions. She waited patiently while Maiman began reading through the information presented to her.
