After calling the First officer with an update on Medical Ozameen
had checked the database to see if he could find anything useful.
However it did not happen often that people were deaged through an
artifact. Anything he could find did not apply to their current
situation. However his archiving skills possibly could do with
some work. He hoped that Mark had a better idea. He had heard him
say something to Ba'el he was sure but with having him on the call
he had not had a chance to listen.
Now as he entered the Isolation Ward he stopped in his track. So
many people here! He could spot some Cardassians, Nugra who looked
kind of... smaller. He saw Cade, Jalana and Elias in the back as
well. He saw Mark standing with Indrid clearly working on
something based on what he saw. It looked like he had an idea on
how to help the memory loss and was testing it. Oz exhaled
relieved and nodded to himself.
He noticed Ba'el with the younger Maiman, she was not as young as
others but still younger than before. And then there was a man of
the same species as Maiman. Oz had never seen him before so he
approached him.
Malyz: Hi, I'm Malyz, can I help you?
Kalin: Response
There were still a bunch of people missing, though also saw a few
more on the other side, separated into groups as he had suggested,
good. This way nobody would be overwhelmed by too many people.
However having people here who did not belong did not help.
Malyz: I see. Since you are not one of the affected and not a
medical officer, I have to ask you to leave. Should you need
medical attention please go to the main sick bay across the
corridor. One of our many medical officers will be happy to assist
you.
Kalin: Response
Malyz: Mister Terpes, I know you are worried about your sister and
I understand that. However this room is about to get a lot fuller.
So I thank you for making room and leaving the Isolation ward.
Kalin: Response
Ozameen was about to say something else when he heard something
behind him. It was Ba'el and he remembered she'd been standing
with Maiman.
Ba'el: The EMH went to collect a few tangible items from Yirah's
work station. Tactile connection's can be very helpful in
recalling memories. We were hoping your ability to manifest
memories might also help. Are you willing to try?
Terpes: Respond
Ba'el: Good ::Gestures through the door to isolation:: Right this
way.
Terpes: Response
He looked to Kalin and gestured to the door before turning and
moving over to Ba'el. He refrained from tapping her shoulder, not
wanting to risk a Klingon Death grip because he surprised her.
Malyz: Hey Ba'el? ::lowering his voice:: Are you aware that Maiman
is one of the affected crew members?
Ba'el: Response
Malyz: ::nodding:: Yeah. Not as much as some of them, but with the
way the memory loss progresses, she may not be able to use her
abilites. It could hurt Indrid's brain instead. You know all
scrambled eggs.
Ba'el: Response
Malyz: It was a good idea, though. ::he considered.:: Have you
thought about showing him his personal logs? Maybe that can
jumpstart something?
