PNPC Zogi - distracted for a second

((Black hole bar, USS Constitution – the morning after the mission))

:: With the ceremony over Zogi made his way back to the bar. The senior staff and a few of Riyao’s friends had been present and after the service most of them grabbed a cup of coffee and a sandwich and that was it. Zogi grabbed the leftovers and made his way back to the bar. He put the leftovers in his kitchen, recycled the materials and then made his way back to the bar.  He checked the replicator that was still working and when he turned around he spotted the blue face of an old friend he hadn’t seen for a while::

Zogi: Welcome back! Where have you been? Haven’t seen you since the bar mix contest with the good doctor! How have you been?

Dial: Moy, I'm fine, I think. Been on the Starbase for quite a while and it feels good to be home again.

Zogi: Well you picked a good time to sit one out. From what I heard things went a bit rough at the Unity, and things weren’t exactly peachy over here. Lot of problems with power and spirits or something… Just listen in on a few tables and you’ll catch up in no time.  May I ask what you did at the base?

oO Perhaps there is a business opportunity here Oo

Dial: I had to take care of some issues of my own. Your guests fled to the base?

::Zogi hadn’t even seen the clientele had dropped, but it was understandable now that the ship docked::

Zogi: It seems so… It was a lot more crowded a few hours ago when we were still on our way. Anyway.. can I help you?

Dial: I hope so. But I've not come for chit-chat only. Can you serve me an alcohol-free cocktail maybe? Something with many fruit juices in it?

Zogi: Fruit juice sure. I got apple, lemon, pineapple and .. ::Zogi kneeled down behind the bar and looking for something in cooler. He grabbed a blue bottle with an odd logo on it and placed it on the bar:: .. a bottle of Bolian Tonic Water. Not very fruity but you look like you can use one.

::Zogi watched Dial as she scanned the room. She seemed to be surprised about the new level but Zogi remembered her being around when it opened up::

Zogi: Haven’t been to the upper level yet have you?

Dial: ?

Zogi: Yeah right… about that.. Next time you buy gifts come see me. I could have saved you some Latinum.

oO Or tricked you in to spending way more on your friends Oo

Dial: ?

::Zogi looked at Dial who seemed elsewhere for a moment. She was clearly thinking about something he said or did but Zogi couldn’t really tell what it was. So to break the awkward moment he grabbed a bowl with some small snacks and placed it in front of Dial. ::

Dial: ?

Zogi: Yeah, you seemed distracted for a second. Are you sure you’re all right?
