That was a good question. Rem doubted Federation doctors were any less annoying with the poking and prodding than Cardassian ones, for all that they were rumored to be a softer crowd.

Soft didn't mean weak.

Soft didn't mean not doing what was necessary.

Rem: Well, the sooner this is done, the sooner we can go home.

Where was home? He wasn't sure right then, except that it definitely wasn't this sterile and oddly white ship. StarFleet really went for light colors in their ship interiors.

Rem: Also, this ship must be hard to keep this clean...

He meant it as a compliment, but who knew how it would actually come over...

And hey, at least he knew he wasn't on campus...for now.
